i'm planning to buy a new cellphone but i can't make up my mind which one to buy between W980 and W508.. i read the review and one of the features i like about this phone is the thread messaging and off course it has mem. card.. but i i think this one is more expensive than W980.. ;(

i own this phone since last sunday and find it quite amazing..it got shake and sensor control..and u can also lock the media key too.

MJ, 14 Oct 2009could this phone change the msg alert tone into mp3tones?Yes definitely. Got to File Manager, locate the MP3 file and use it as a message tone from the Options menu. :-)

The pockets of my pants are always tight and that's why... moreI don't have that cell, But i think they could turn the music on and off, or go through menus, or something like so .. the very least is that the outer screen will be lit and cause fast consumption of the battery.
an easier solution would be to wear looser clothes, healthier anyways ;)
or you can use a belt case and hang it to your waist or something.

The pockets of my pants are always tight and that's why I stay away from bar phones (keys may be pressed and i hate locking/unlocking the keypad)
But i see buttons on the outer surface of the phone. Does they do something if they are pressed accidentally and non intentionally while the phone is in my pockets ?
