ey i want to say something that the w600 and the w550 and the s710 y think that the s710 is best but the problem is that it dont have a reproducer of mp3 like the walkman but the important is that the s710 have a mp3 reporoduser and more important it have a memory stick duo pro and can put a memory card of 1 gb and the w600 thont have a memory slot and if you see the camera of the s710 and w600 the w600 have more resolution the resolution of the s710 is of 1280·960 and of the w600 is of 1280·1024

hello my name is luis and y will go to the units estates and i wanth to buy the w600 but my friends say me that is more good the walkman w900 but some one can say me wath prise is the w600 and the w900 in usa

I absolutely love this phone!! It definitely turns heads and the speakers are so LOUD!! I had one issue with the WSOD or blank screen while I was trying to update with the Sony Ericsson Update Service via USB, but I fixed it by flashing it with the latest firmware and I haven't had a problem since! Reception is simply awesome. I probably will NOT be using the USB anymore due to the possibility of WSOD. Since the phone has infared and bluetooth capabilities, I will by transferring my music through those. Overall, wonderful phone!!!

i have k750,w800i n my cousin using w550i sony ericsson really produce quality phones love their products n i do like nokia but every time i brought their 1st batch phone the only problems got bugs hmm every time have to go to service centre n the Q up few hrs n wasting time other than that nokia gd n sony great connecting to sony ericsson

I LOVE THIS PHONE. Of course there are some problems with it, but I have never had a phone that is flawless. In my opinion it is a great phone.

you should buy it if dont better die,you can go to the home page of sony ericcson.and see the truth that in the united states only sell crap.they only sell motorola crap.the razr,ja ja ja crap.i know more than everyone about phones and listen to my words,search the w810,and youre life never will be the same,the best cells in the world are sony.just see the w810 the best freaking phone in all the world.

im about to do my 4th exchange with this phone. it impressed me at first but it got annoying when i had to constantly exchange it. my first phone got a blank screen. it frozed with the background after i used the USB cable. my 2nd phone dropped my call every 30 second or less. there is little to no reception. then it frozed like the first phone. i am on my third phone right now and there is no reception while all the other phones in the same area as i am in has 4-5 bars. anyone got a solution or a reason why i am experiencing this reception problem?

Phone freezes because you unplug incorrectly, from the pc and then cause this error that make the phone stay on the sony ericsson menu..... meaning the icon...... i had same problem i figured out myself.........

the w600 to me is one of the best phones that has been introduced.the technicality of the phone is great and the avilablity is also great.this phone is great for my every day use.BABY GIRL

This phone SUCKS!!! It isn't Mac friendly or Audible compatible. My first one dropped calls all the time, but I finally sent it back because it was randomly turning itself off. I've only had phone #2 for 2 days and it is even worse. The reception is terrible. It drops calls all over town and then it says No Network Coverage.
I called my local Cingular store and the guy had me turn off the phone so he could make some updates. Still sucks! Still dropping calls! And other people I know with Cingular aren't having reception problems in the same places.

And YES, you can use ANY audio file you have on this phone as a ringtone including mp3's. You can download apps, themes, games and all sorts of other things for FREE at www.sonyericsson.com. Just click on "downloads". I've had more phones than most, and this one is by far the most personalizable one. ENJOY

I too am a victim of the great "white screen of death" plague. I spoke with SE reps forever and finaly learned how to prevent it. ANYTIME you plug in the USB make sure you are in the home screen and that you don't wiggle or disconnect it without properly exiting the application. Try to make your transfers all in one connection/day as apposed to several different times during the day. Also, let it completely load during USB mode before you begin messing with phone files. Hope this helps because as long as you don't mess the memory up, this is a sweet phone that makes the anything with itunes look like childs play.

Ok i wanna just lay it all out for everyone. I work for cingular and am a present owner of the w600i and i absolutely love it. The battery times are as they state cause i went atleast 15 days without charging and used the phone each day. On top of that the trick with the white screen of death is if it comes up you need to leave your phone alone for about 20 minutes on that white screen and it should go away about 75% of the time. I wouldn't recommend doing tooo much USB transfer at 1 time do it in short spurts to allow it to work faster instead of overloading it because your phone will act up. This is the best phone to own I sell at least 5 a week if not more and has the best reception out of any other phones due to the swivel antenna. If you have any other problems with the phone than its probably a manufacturer mistake. I hope that this helps everyone
