appreciate that man, but yeah i know how to do that. that's when the file is a .jar file. the one i was asking before, was a .jar file too, but when u download it from a site, it will be a zipped folder and when u extract it, you will get loooots of files, images, ,jpg, .gif, .wav and i forgot the others, you really cant install them just by extracting it. but i already found out how to solve it, just change the file extension to .jar .it was awesome, coz i have games like, call of duty 2, ragnarok and other awesome games. metal slug 2 too! its really awesome.

Hey Red, for the .jar games you have to make a folder in the 'Other' folder under file manager (or just under the drive on ur pc), and then put the .jar apps in the folder. After that you have to install it from your fone, just open file manager, open to the 'Other' folder and the folder u made, and u'll see the .jar files and u can install it from there =D
Btw I just got this phone 2 days ago and it's awesome, the walkman feature is ez to use, and u can listen to music and use the camera at the same time! The speakers are loud and clear. and the grip reminds me of my old V300 :D overall this is an awesome phone to have... packed with features and it can multitask! i was impressed.

Can we lock The picture album or phonebook etc on this Phone? IF so how can i do it? I tried to lock things but i couldn't find it. Motorolla V3 Razar has dat option. Locking Application. I duno how to do on this Phone. Can anyone help me wit this? And can anyone tell me if i can uplaoad da SMS msgs to PC?

regarding anton's opinion, yo anton, nobody told you to install a big program like limewire or something on your phone, why don't you try apple's logic pro and see if it will run any faster...

it automatically save pics when you take photos... just go to menu, then pictures, then go to menu>filemanage>pictures>photoalbum
and they are al stored in the photo album

i've had this phone for about 4 days and have been installing stuff on it non stop. today I installed some more songs and got the white screen of death. press power on button and screen goes blank forever with no buttons responding and nothing happening on the screen. after trying to restart it 20 times, i took the battery out and thought what a piece of crap this was. after taking a 1/2 hour shower I put the battery back in and it booted up. the first thing i did after it loaded was go to phone mode and then turn the phone off again. when i did, it didn't give me the normal screen that asks me if i really want to shut down or not. After turning on and turning off 3 more times, the shut down menu finally came back and now the phone is running properly.
in any case, if you get WSOD all is not lost... just keep trying =)
I do have a problem with the phone tho. it has stereo widening option, but it turns itself off everytime i switch songs so i have to keep turning it back on everytime i change playlists, or tracks.

this phone is awsome...but i cant get the camera to save my pix.... the video works right.... help?

for using the flash on the phone, go to ur camera, and scroll through your settings... there u will see a picture of a light... turn that on... so when you take a picture, it should flash... works for me... :)

I got my phone and it works fine until 16 later. Tried running installed java games and got "Application Failed" messages. Turned phone off and on and whoa... white screen of death. Waiting for my replacement phone.

i just got this phone yesterday and for anyone else who has it... how do you use the flash in camera mode? the only thing i can figure out is to turn on the light, but not flash.

hmm i got a question for W600 owners does this phone in the original package, comes with the USB Cable? i maybe getting this phone (with new cover of course, white with pink sakuras) or the rokr E2 for my girlfriend, but of course i need opinions

Bongo...what i have is a p800 on T-mobile...so tnx :) I KNOW they are the same but....one more time...can u use that as integrated handsfree??? I don't own w550 so I have no ideea...

i think the w600 has a stronger signal than w550, that would be the only big difference, and its not worth more than 200USD

its the same. all its got is a software upgarde. the w550 hasnt been out long enough for networks to change thier name. its a big fat sony con. its the same. get a 3310. bongo

yeah it plays mp3's it plays them pretty well actually. All around great phone.
