I just got mine through cingular...Actually am impressed. The menu is quick, the screen (although small) is clear. The camera is decent as long as you have ample light, and the walkman feature is nice. Software is also nice. Bluetooth works very easily. The w800 is better, but for the price difference, not that much better. A good phone overall.

hey hey hey guyz just wait if u have no money 2 buy a cell phone.coz this phone is just amazing as i had seen and used it and i think if u once use it then u will see that its simply the best and its just like W550 and i had like it very much and i think u will also like it.this phone has so much amazed me and made me just 2 right my opinions about this phone and show u the right thing 2 buy and do not waste ur money on other phones.its waiting 4 u.just taste the legend.

Good news: somebody sold W600i in Brazil for 899 reais, and before it was 1.160 reais, These , therefore, arent official, because SE STILL didn´t release this phone in Brazil.
FOR NS:
You can think the screen small because you we´re using the S700 (so big in all sizes!!!).

I just got the W600I from Cingular, A couple of things i dont like about it. The screen is small and you can't turn off the Shutter sound when taking a picture. Ive been using the S710 for more than 8 months and i think i like it better than the W600i.

yeah, thats why i prefer the w800 too, hold dude, where did your friend buy the w800 for $400? thats cheap. i hope thats just phone, no contract. dude, if u can, email me, and maybe we can exhange some apps sometime when i get my w800 sometime in the future lol

A friend of mine just recently bought the w800 for 400 bucks and it's pretty cool. I would prefer it over the w600 due to the amount of memory but if I buy the w600 through cingular I get $100 off. I don't think I'll use the browser much but it's a nice feature.

i do want the w800 too, well this or the w800. i have been debating with myself which one to get, well they are all depending of the compatibility of the accessories i want to get. they are awesome! but the low points of the w800, it has no internet browser, just WAP, but the mem stick would make all the difference. i have been going back and forth on the two reviews and their specs haha

wow someone is named red here too. lol! anyways, hey kr8tos, im in the US too. and thinking of getting this in cingular or just the w800 somewhere in the net. if u have some files in your pc, u wont have a problem uploading them into your phone whether it's locked or not. since u got the pc suite. did i answer your question? lol im not sure i only read it once

Hey keyzer since you have dl games for the w600 maybe you can answer my question. I plan to buy this phone from cingular but I want to be able to put games on the phone directly from my PC and I have several jar files that work with the phone's software. Will I be able to do that with the cingular phone or do I have to have an unlocked w600? I don't want to use medianet to pay to dl games.

I live in Brazil too. I´m afraided, because I don´t know how much it will be more than then the necessary, this phone shouldn´t be more than 600 reais (no máximo!). But let´s wait. Theres somebody selling W600i no MercadoLivre, and it costs 1.160 reais. But I dont think this will be the official price for W600 in Brazil, because there´s alot of taxes included.
Let´s wait and see..

I am looking at the unlocked version of the Sony Ericsson W600 or the 600i to buy. I have an AT&T sim card on an existing ATT plan from 2 years ago. Do you know if this phone will work on the ATT GSM network? Are the accessories - charger, handsfree, compatible with these phones and the T610 or T616? I have lots of chargers and other items that have the two prongs that slip into the positions on the bottom of the phones. Any info would be great.

The w600 is out on Rogers Wireless right now, if you're an existing customer you can upgrade to it. ITs also out right now if you're an employee.
To the person looking for an imei, you do realize they differ from each phone right? What are you trying to do? Clone it?
