Uhm i really like this phone cos it's cute but my only problem is that it freezes frequently, i always have to take out the battery and restart it for it to get norrmal.
Anyway can someone also help me out with how to use MP3 as a ringtone, it seems not working out well for me unless as a contact rringtone

To Sip sip 1999; Yes you can go ahead upgrading to 2 GB. But you will get a slow performing mobile if you stuff it up with games,mp3,themes,etc.

I purchased this phone on line via ebay. I got it as backup and also because i was getting a little pi**sed with carrying a phone and ipod to gym. The radio is great and build quality is excellent. The phone and data option are a synch and as usual the SE menue is the best out there. If you are an active person - this is the phone for you and the bonus is the excellent battery life.

OMG, that's a relief, I never thought it would be THAT simple! Thanks so much, it really worked for me too, I owe you one for that advice :))
So it's still the best phone I ever held in my hands - in other words, my opinion is back to normal :)

I got this problem the very first day. I just deleted all the call contacts(missed,dial,received). And then it worked. I guess all phones have disadvantages. Even the legendary Nokia 3310 has problems.

I've got this phone for about five months now and it's been great - I mean, till three days ago I had nothing to complain about it, everything works perfectly, it looks like new.. I really love it, there wastn't a moment to feel sorry for buying it - it's everything I wanted in a phone.
And actually it's still perfect - the first and only problem (for the time being) occured last weekend when I had to turn it off for a couple of days. After getting back to civilization and turning it on, it stopped recording the calls - dialled, answered, missed - the call list just doesn't update anymore. I just got the latest version of the software and tried all possible ways I could find to fix it but it wouldn't work.
Has anybody else had that problem? It seems to be quite rare cause Google finds almost no entries about it (and no answers at all) but anyway I was hoping there might be a solution other than taking the phone to the service.

It's only been about four months since I bought this phone. The rubber covering the front side border is loosening & seems to be removed.

hey Rami Reddy if you really want to do a big mistake then only by this phone i am giving you the right opinion if you want to buy similar but far more better buy w810i ok my bye

Yes the face rubber easily gets off! My phone is 4 months old but it looks ugly already because of the rubber. And I went to sony ericsson service center and they don't have a stock to replace the face rubber. :(

the theme is incompatible for your phone. esato.com provides list of themes compatible with the phones designated to it.
http://www.esato.com/logos/colour/themes.php
make sure the theme is compatible on your phone(example those themes for the W810 won't fit to the W710 because the platform is different even though they sport the same screen resolution)

Great phone but i agree the font size is too small,im having big problem reading message i get.. hahah and the rubber is comeing off too:( What can i do teke my phone to my phone service? will i hvae to pay for new rubber? anyone?
