Bought this phone 3 days ago. Everything's great with it - a lot of functions, 512 MB memory card etc.
It can also be used as a remote control for computers with Blutooth.
The camera makes really good photos in daytime and with sufficient light. Night mode is not so good.
The only weak thing on this phone is the battery. After the first 12 h charge (old-school Ni-MH habits, what can I say) the battery lasted less than 24h and I didn't even do much with it. Some people say it will be better after a few weeks of usage and 4-5 full chargings. I hope I don't have to be dissappointed in the Li-Pol battery, since so far I've seen videos of them exploding while charging :)
Also, I miss thiss birthday reminder my Nokia had. But that's not much of a loss.
I haven't tried the fitness apps and other functions yet, but I'm sure that they will be also good.
Oh yeah, for the people who don't like the headphones, guess what - you can use your own ones - the headphone part can be removed from the hands free set.
I'm definately staying with this phone, because I don't want to go back to Nokia 6100 which I had before :(

Hi.... I've been read ur comment and noticed that currently u're using different type of SE hp. I would like check with u for Z610 and W710 which 1 is better ? cuz now i'm still decide whether to buy Z610 or W710 .... could u gimme some idea or suggestion abt both hp ....

i brought mine in purple & they also do grey of www.mphones.co.uk & they post to any country, they have stock & there are a good price

this is a walkman phone so if you like listening to music go for this & not the z710 cause that is not as good at playing the music

Pls help, I already have Nokia 3250 and want this phone! Is the speaker really good because 3250 has too much treble (very sharp) and if u increase the bass in 3rd party mp3 players it sounds like it's going to break, lots of cracks in RAP music with lots drum beats.
Is the speakers really good ? Is this phone much better than the 3250 ? Please help me I want to change my phone for my BDay which is couple days from now. Should I get the Z710 or this ? I don't exercise much :p

Ok so ive been goin to pure mobile and hi-mobile waiting for them to restock on this phone....later to find out thats this phone has been discontinued

the w710i comes with a 512mb memory card where as the z710i comes with a 64mb memory card!!!

yes its the same size & weight, the outside is just a little bit different in design but the buttons are the exact same. the only difference with the specs of the w710i & the z710i is that the w710i has a walkman & a fitness menu thats all!!!!!!!!!

So.. this is the samething as z710...the designs, wieght, bands except is has a bit more feutures... Niiice... may be i should get myself one...

i am always changing my phones to find 1 i like, in the last 8 weeks i have had w850i, z610i my husband has the z710i & i now have this the w710i, i am very pleased with this phone.
good battery life 3-4 days, ringing tone is more than loud enough to hear, you can use your own mp3 tunes as ringing or message alerts, its works very quickly with a 1gb memory card, i love the little lock key on the out side that can be used when the phone is shut to prevent knocking the keys on, you can play the music & leave it playing even when using the other fuctions of phone even shutting the phone will not stop the music playing until you stop it by either going to walkman menu or pressing the outside key when shut, i am very pleased.
i would love a sony ericsson phone with a colour outside screen on the flips & a better camera with flash & zoom but i guess we can't have everything!!!!!!!!!!

i always fully charge my new battery 3 times & run out fully the 3 times, my battery last about 3 days.

only thing you cant zoom in with the camera, gives you options on the quality picture, from VGA,1MP,2MP, video you can record more then 1minute, the speakers on the phone is loud, and he headset also pretty great, havent got any problems since i got it :)

Very cool, might change my K750 to this later, camera quality is great, only lacks macro mode and autofocus. flash? why need for such LED-type one. but MXE-60 xenon flash. it's better
in the future i hope i can see W720/750 with better performance and features=D

hi guys i will ask if some body knows if this MOB take 1G and work normally with it!
And i will ask that in video player there is fullscreen but and there are normal and auto fit but all the three are the same in my w710! do you have the same problems???!

I have purchased this mobile3 days before..want knw actuall talktime of bettery b coz i think my mobile's bettry is not morking more then 2 hours..
Any body can tell me the actuall talktime of bettery.
