Dear ruizgar,
if it is true that you are the creater of this fone you could of done much, much better. The camera could be like the w810 with Autofocus and flash and it could be like 2 pm not vga. The outer screen could have more than 2 colors. The screen could have much more pixels (more than 176x144). Last, the opening mechanism could nit be soooooo hard to use and poen.

Does this phone have a low battery tone that always beeps when its low on battery? or does it beep every few mins or does it just show a pic of a low battery on the display?

I got this phone a week back, upgrade from my Samsung X600.. And I LOVE it!! I was also stuck between w810 and w710, but I decided on w710 finally.
The volume on the phone is more than sufficient. music quality everybody would know about; its fantastic (sony walkman after all).. even radio reception is good.
Camera is not that great though; w810 has a far better camera. I read somewhere that SE purposely removed Autofocus from the W710 and kept it in the w810, for some reason or the other..
the step count keeps counting too many steps, and also it counts steps while I'm on my bike; but then I guess the jerks are sensed by motion sensor as steps so no complaints. Distance is totally wrong, but then I haven't calibrated the stride length; so once I do that it should be fine.
I think it looks simply gorgeous. I would definitely recommend this phone

i believe this phone is great.designed for active lifestyle.
it doesn't have built-in flash light. but u can attached a flash light gadget whic is called "flash mxe60" and i believed the price of that is aroung 1800php in any store of the SE.

It's a beautiful phone. Design and keypad layout is great. The purple version is gorgeous. It has loads of fantastic features by the look of it. Can't go wrong with this phone.

I've gotten this fone for 2 weeks, so far the features are great but the talk time seems less impressive than advertised. There's something weird about the step counter & according to SE Hotline, it's supposed to count as u walk, but mine seems to jump 30-50 steps each time after a certain interval rather than gradually. Have called SE tech Hotline (which I was rather disappointed to realise their service attitude is less than satisfactory) but it's been almost 2 wks & they've yet to reply me.

Does this phone have flash flight? Can I use MP3 as sms alert? my W810 that I have now can use MP3 as sms alert. Al so will be nive if you guys can tell me if it has flash light. I like this phone alot. SE rules!

If you think the phone is not good enough for your liking , don't get it. The design of phones is all subject to each and everyone's opinion. Personally I find this phone a stunning phone to begin with, the phone is featured packed similar with W810i and W850i but there is one feature that both mentioned phones does not have and that is the motion sensor for fitness . If you are the sort that does exercise , this phone is for you.
As for the loudness of the speaker, it's loud enough for my liking. How loud do you want your phone to be? So for some of you guys, please go try out the phone , don't spread rubbish if you dont know anything about this phone.

hi please help
i only have one chance of buying a cellphone this holiday season
am stuck bet w810 and w710
like features of w810 better than w710
but w810 is about 9 months old and w710 2 months
710 has bluetooth stereo also whwn closed outer butttons help control mp3 player and it feels like a normail mp3 player but w810 has better quality headphones and also jack to use our own
cost is nearly same for bth
my priority is good mp3 like a standlonemp3 player
both are good which is confusing
don't you think so
please HELP ALL

The design isnt as nice as it looks in the picture... but still very nice-looking phone. the sound quality is nice with earphones because of the mega bass maybe.. but the max volume is just not strong enough..
1 strange thing... issit all SE phones can only zoom in low quality/VGA mode?

Should I get this phone? Everyone thinks its beautiful and great but I don't think it is that good. Can anybody actually tell me if he/she loves the phone or not because I am not very convinced with it.

The movie taken with this phone are small and choppy. Good for saying "I was THERE" but not fun to watch. the phone is branded both as an ericsson and a walkman. It's been reviewed for good sound and the external mp3 buttons on the front is nice.

The presence of a motion sensor, tracking your speed, when you are running or walking. hence why it is called a motion sensor
