I had bought this phone 13 years ago, when it was freshly released. What a piece of crap! Charging port had stopped working 3 weeks after the purchase, and the replacement cost was 80+ euro (1/3 of the price). The software was laggy with some annoying bugs. It also lacked a video call camera which was really a trend those days. It survived 6 months more, then the screen started going black when sliding it open. I got rid of it eventually for my own sake.
I had totally forgot about, but today I found its M2 memory card and the adaptor in a drawer and tried to look for it again, thus why I put this comment 13 years after.

I love this phone a lot, I feel that it is rather the direct evolution of the w580, it makes it similar in characteristics, the advantage is the walkman 3.0 and the memory, besides this phone is compactible with all the flash themes, great and long life sony ericsson
