Hello...still hoping someone might know why SE pulled this off the U.S. website?!!?!?
Doesn't make any sense...they sell the W880 in U.S. stores even though it doesn't have 850 band, but why in the world would they pull a quad band before it even releases???

only difference is the 3.2 mp camera instead of the 2mp. Big deal, still without flash this is useless. C'mon SE start making better phones.!

SE is making Low End and Mid Range these days becuase SE hasnt made many of those kind of phones in the past so there concentrating on it....

what hapent with SE i see that they made only crap phones now since k850 i never se or any information about a se top phone only low end pohones were is the expensive phones...some people like to spent money on good phones but they have only k850 i for me y think is ugly..hey made nice phones once'

If it really gonna cost ~$300 then what a hell are you guys complaining about? for 300 bucks a phone that is this slim, sony e. quality, 2gbs, 3mp, radio, quad band, and so on??? What do you get for ~$300?????????? and you complain about this phone not having AUTOFOCUS????????

I can tell you why the design is like that. I think they try to aim for all people. Like, if a phone had a design similar to w880 then it would be more young-people-type-looking-phone. As you can see it is also quad band, and not too many se phones are. This way they also try to aim at United States and other countries that require quad-band. That's why design is like those ordinary phones, accept don't look as dumb. It also has everything else young and old people are going to like. My father would like that it is thin. I like that + walkman 3 player + many things...
Mayby this way sony ericsson wants to get some money to produce something great? Just like Microsoft does right now? YOu know that Vista is just to earn some money right? It is going to be like Win 2000 that no one even remembers now. They've worked on a new system for a while now. and it is called Windows 7 right now, but will be changed when will be available (just as Vista was called Longhorn)

I don't like the design, looks like if they are moving backward instead of forward on what design referrs to, the design looks like the Old Motorola L6, totally awful!!!
Great Features and seems to have a nice performance, but what I do not like at all is the design...
