The W890i can't ... moreyeah totally right. virus can b on memory card.but it cant infect the phones system.cuz SE W890 is not a smartphone or sumthing that have a OS. if the virus creator is a genius he have to get inside the phones system to attack the w890.i think it cant b done.
so if u detected any virus on ur memory and phones memory when u connect it to PC. just clean them with a good virus guard.
im going to get this phone nxt week. still i didnt use it.hope its a nice music phone with 3g which can make a call and send a txt msge. HAIL METAL!!!!

What are you people talking about "Virus"? The W890i can't have a virus because it has no OS. It's not symbian or anything. It's Just like a windows computer can have a virus and a linux can't have a virus.

hints to all w890 users..store all ur files to ur memory card's memory,ur fons memory should not be saved any files excpt for d built in software dat has been installed to ur fon at purchase,,wen connecting ur fon to a pc.,scan it first wd ur PC's anti virus and defrag ur fons memory..defraging ur fons memory wil enhance better performance,and more space to ur memory card and thus preventing ur fon from malfunction(caution; do not reformat just defrag ur memory!!!)...im also w890 user and my fon dosnt gv me any prob it just works well..txt me at 09153460086 and ill be glad to discus some of fons basic techniqs..hav a gud day to all and long live to all heavy metal people rockin out dr!!!!!!!

hi,
which is better: Nokia 6500classic or the SE W890?
i like the range of features that the w890 offers (especially with messaging) but am drawn to the basic reliability of nokia's s40 OS.
is SE's software really that buggy?
i'm really just looking for a straighforward phone that does the basics well (and looks as good as these 2 models!)
any thoughts would be appreciated.

i just bought it yesterday..
hurm..why the 1,2,and 3 megapixel mode in camera cannot be zoom in?
only the vga shoot mode can be zoom..
how come..?

Thank you so much for the ... more alpha,all of the cellphones are subject to viruses esp. w/ memory card,same with other flash card everytime you connect or load from the other by any means of transffering, dont worry as long as your PC have an anti virus, it well automatically remove or well clean your phone.

cherry, 17 Mar 2009the design is vry nice...,d keypad is vry responsive,vry t... morehi cherry, yes i notice it has not doing well in sound, but we could change it acoustic, maybe this weekend, il try to it to my little brother to use my w902 acoutic or w980 to his w890 (to changed)it may improve it sound quality.
