when i first got this phone, i thort it was really nice and it had brilliant memory and camera but after a couple of months it got to that stage where it just kept turning of and freezing on me. its one of the worst phones ever. sony ericcson phones are the worst to buy, your wasting your money????

this is my 3rd time getting this phone, as i changed my phone very often... aft changing for many rounds.. this is still one of the best phone - slim, light, cool, solid and software is more stable now, as compared to the 1st time when i bot, where its off and on most of the time... though an old model of SE but it still ROCKS... nice and good phone.. mocha color looks best among all... cheers for SE..

ive have just got this fone nd it looks great, very slim and durable, but viewing some of the comments, ive heard that the volume on this fone is very low, is there anything i can do, cos i h8 a fone that has quiet volume, thats the reason why i bought a walkman due to the music quantity holding space, look and the price. i got the w890i for just £100

i currently have it. It works good. I like the design. No network problem, fast internet browsing. Though, sound quality is not that good but performance wise it's satisfactory. Thumbs up!

Hang and reset quite often if the key-pad is pressed too fast. Strongly recommend that you should not buy.

I bought the Phone 6 months ago, the network reciption was very bad, changed it from the agent with a new one , but still facing the same problem, a bit slow compared to w880

Compared to my previous W810i it's a cool phone i agree it's softer then the W810i and no flash light a bit of a draw back but still a very nice phone

many have comments on the signal/network issue.for w890i, its antenna is located at the bottom of the unit, opposite side of the microphone.. in my case, which i do have one, and when trying to make calls, i just ensure im on the average signal strength..Still w890i is a good unit and the latest i own from previous sonyericsson phones.

It depends on your network's signal, NOTHING is wrong with W890i and signal....

the problem with the w890i is that it has not got a flash light and some ppl find it difficult to use a keypad, so before buying it try typing a text first.

ths phone can be used as video cal as it has 3g dear apart frm this gud sound bt only with headsets as they r gud,bt wthout the headsets i m sory thn its not a chinese phone which will make sound like a hell.gud camera if u dont shiver while taking pic bcoz dosnt have auto focus and flash bt gud if u dont shiver.can minimize screen while recvng bluetooth file bt cant be minimized while sending.video tone is a great thing for every person listed under ur phonebuk loved it.

saran, 21 Dec 2008i have wont buy a sony eric 2 option one is w890i oter one ... moreW902 is better in terms of better camera resolution 5MP Autofocus and Flash, 8GB in the retail pacakge, Music keys...
W890i is slimmer, 3.2MP, Music Keys, 2GB in retail pacakage.
