id agree with tpsez
its a common stereotype that these latest symbian phones are slow. this really is not the case. my n95 never crashes (yes it did on earlier firmware versions) but it is VERY stable.
the n81 is too a great device which is quite cheap these says.
and dani at least the xpressmusic phones have their prorities straight.
the music quality is superb and you can just pick it up, plug in headphones (or connect stereo ones) and press one button which opens up the music player.
people buy walkmans because the walkman branding leads them to believe it is more superior. not true!

Thats a load of rubbish, my N81 has over 300 mp3s in it, loads of videos and tv episodes as well as podcasts and it doesn't crash! Its an extremely stable device,and a lot better than a W890. The current WALKMAN range are a bunch of wana be Music phones, they are not true WALKMANs. All they have is the W-branding.

omar, 30 Jun 2008ok guys i have a nokia n73m.e for nearly 7 months but its n... moreapparently the nokia n91 has absolutely amazing sound quality but i wouldnt recommend it as its functions are still pretty limited (mine you, its an nseries so it has more functionality than this load of junk).
id say...get the nokia n81 as it's rated better for music than the w960 which is sonys best effort.

Noticed that the W890i uses the following battery:
Li-Po 950 mAh (BST-33)
It's the same "low" end battery used by the P1i which also uses the "higher" end battery, BST-40.
Anyone know if the W890i will accept the BST-40 battery? It's not listed at the SE website!

i am due for an upgrade in 2 months. i used to be a nokia person but after having problems with my ast nokia i decided to try SE. thank god. best move i ever made. i have a w810i and its the best phone ive ever had!!!
im looking at getting the w890and want to know if its any good? the camera seems better. 2mp-3.15mp and memory from 512mb-1 gig. the worst thing i found about the w810i and all SE is the crappy earphone/charger port. to make a good connection you often have to wiggle the cable. does the w890 still use the same system? and am i the ony person who feels this sucks and SE need to look at sorting that out?
