i updated my mobile...it unwantedly switching off and switching....while im speaking on the call..from thr frony speakers..an unusual sound effect provind...can tell me solution for this please?

You can update through Sony Ericsson website and download the Sony Ericssin Update Service (SEUS) program. Install it on PC and follow instructions.

I bought this phone. I immediately updated firmware and mod it. Now I have HD Sound Quality, Aino Theme and Walkman 3.5 with big album art(walkman 4.0 without visualizations)

I'm with the UK Three network provider, which has an app (could just be a link)to YouTube. It does work, the quality isn't great, passable though. Best viewed with headphones in for better audio quality (I find the supplied headphones to be of good, no need for replacement).
I downloaded Mini Opera 5, which works very well with it, great intelligently designed app. Scan around a full size web page to get the impression of the layout, then select to zoom in for the legible detail.
The key/navigation pad is a bit close together, which I'm now getting used to, the main thing is the key presses are responsive and good to use.
The screen is good quality (vivid colours, blacks aren't washed out). Legible in sunlight, although my Sony-E W810i was better only with regards to sunlight).
Relative to the great price I paid, I'm happy with it. It also came with a 2GB M2 card. I've been prating about getting a replacement for the W810i which I used/lost for gps navigation on my road bike (I thought it was a great phone), This seems close, should have had an autofocus camera though, rather than the PR spin ever increasing "Megapixels" (Lens aperture/quality is the main thing).

Pierre-Louis Ricardo, 11 May 2010How is the battery life?Pretty good, about three days with 3G use and MP3's (4/5 hours a day), FM radio uses very little power.
The radio / MP3 player sound very good to me with supplied silicone ear-bud in ear headphones, signal reception seems very good. I really like the fact it's only one CM thick and light (hardly notice in trouser jacket pocket).
As it's a bit older now in terms of the technology roller-coaster so prices are great too.
Screen protector/silicone case, sorted...
