yup i am a proud owner of a w900i (black n shiny), so is my g/friend (white version) and a friend of mine(black version). we all purchased it together and we r most happy with it. so whatever i say about the phone is from personal experience plus that of two others.

I purchased the W900 for about 2 weeks now, and I absolutely love this phone. LOVE IT!!! But I am having problems with my headset, the thing would just cut off in the middle of my music, or calls, therefore the sound would come thru the phone. This is getting quite annoying because I mean right in the middle of my music or calls, is anyone else having this problem, where can I purchase another headset like this with the fm radio integrated. Thanks guys

please letz keep this forum for SERIOUS w900i discussions. n all u fake haters, please n please look for somtin else to do n get ur hands outta ur pants. the spring for w900i is very good. if u actually broke it means u have some kinda huge gorilla hands and you force the phone unnecessarily.

after pray.i think better i tell the truth.i alsoo really hate the speaker of w900i.my swivel spring also been damaged yesterday.oh.and now ,i already trade in my phone with w800.wow!! w800 is fantastic phone 100000x better then w900.
conclusion....w900 is rubish product by se!

Ahhy yayayaii!!, People seriously do not know Nada these days. Before I bought my W900i, I looked around at so much other crap and just laughed. Compare any phone in camera quality, memory capacity, looks, LCD, ETC...FOR ITS PRICE, and you'll get nothing close to this baby. Please all these swivel excuses are pityfull, after 1 month now my baby swivels just right, and DUHH its not gonna be tight like when you first gripped it, it loosens up, and in other cases I bet you just aint handling it right like a $600 dollar phone should be cared for. I Love this phone and like i posted a long time ago, theres no such thing as the best phone, because people buy according to what they like. So comparing is dum, why wont you look for exactly what you need and stop talking UHHH BUT IT GOT A WORST SPEAKER THAN THIS ONE BOO HOO HOO, such naggers. I wanted a larger internal capacity, and I ran into the W900 which even has the ability to increase in capicity, and after looking through Motorola, Nokia, Etc.. I Found exactly what I wanted, Now I could of been like everyone in this post by buying a Motorola V3x then going to its opinion section and typing, AWW I HATE THIS PHONE THE SONY W900i HAS MUCH MORE MEMORY CAPABILITIES AND BETTER SCREEN, BUT DAMN ITS BIG... Oh man how ridiculous. I love the size its manly, its just RIGHT, it looks HOT it looks like A FANTASTIC GADGET, and thats what everyone see's when im watching Fast and the Furious on the NYC subway line sees. Buy what you like and stop complaining, an opinion is more like an excuse, because no one forced you to buy the product and there's always the option of selling or returning it if you didn't get exactly what you was looking for.

i have 2 se phone.w800 and w900.
i almostly agree that the w900 speaker is rubish!!!w800 speaker is great and amazing!
w800 has the real and best sound speaker 1000x better then w900.
im also agree with you all that the swivel spring at w900 easyly to damaged.
im use w900 to type massage rarely.but the swivel machine has damaged.i took w900 to the se support.but they say that w900 spring swivel easyly to damaged.

my swivel spring has loose.can trusted the sony product.i buy w900 with the high price.im so sad becoz my w900 swivel spring machinev damaged in 1 week i purched this product.!!

you aint going to get any bass out of a 2cm speaker so kill the bass and it will kill any distortion just use last three bits of your equalizer on right side.ive had lots of phones,,we all have,,and at full pelt with my dance music the speaker is loud enough in my 10ft by 22ft kitchen.Its only possible to get so much out of a transducer that size and if people are liking the n6630 type phones speaker then that i know that its mainly a midrange sound where as the w900i is more tweeterish but is fairly audible.Just cant believe im discussing this topic,,if you need to go louder your going to have to introduce an external speaker(s) with amplification most likely needing batteries.

1)you can take a picture using vga cam by selecting self portrait from menu,,it comes up in centre quarter of screen
2)its not a smartphone so has a normal operating system that someone else may know BUT has netfront browser and music can play in background whilst doing other things which is a bit smartphone like
3)dont have i-pod but bass is massive and has big bass extension from supplied headfones

5)i got no memory stick with mine on voda uk as its big enough to start with
6)you get a cable with radio and mp3 built in that goes to a 3.5mm jack into which you plug in sony/eric fones or your own,,you get usb cable,,cd with usual stuff on it,,and it comes in a plastic presentation box.
ive had no probs at all and doing my usuall back to back mp3 playing test with light set to 70% and in 2.5g mode got 16hrs 10mins which will do me..and with fairly heavy use using same settings getting 36hrs use which is better than that samsung d600 i took back where i got only 4 hrs mp3 with every setting at minimum so its a good phone.best phone ive had
