wounderful design, features and performance, espacailly in black. Although i have one thing that i put as a disadvantage on SonyEricsson mobiles as general, they don't support files with *.sis that are supported by NOKIA smart phones, you see i have a program (Cell Track) that i use often to track the frequancy and power coverage of the nearby site that my mobile phone is using, and i really need it at work, is there any other program that works on Sony, or is there an executable program that allows Sony to support *.sis files, to be compatible with NOKIA? I would really appreciate your cooperation with me, you can send to me on my e-mail address.

sick phone but you get every thing and more with nokia 6680 and 6681 except 470mb of memory i will stick with nokia series 60 phones check them out

hi...i have questions...your opinion on the phones seems to be more to the pros than cons...
is it true you can only use PRO DUO?
and i heard the sound is soft...tat aside,does that(it being soft) affect the quality of the sound?
any more cons i need to know?

Is it true that this hp doesnt support duo n only pro duo?
And is the speaker really that bad?
And some of you mention problems with the usb function..why not get the memory stick reader?

To those who complain about sony ericsson w900i speaker, go buy urself a bose speaker system if u really wants good quality audio. I mean common if u really compare e quality of sony phone's speaker to other mobile it's definately better then e rest only if u're dumb or ur ear is deaf then i cannot say anything. Common sony makes quality phones n it's worth e price~~!!!!

I have no idea why the mp4 videos that i converted and put into the phone can onli play the image but not the sound. I tried several converters but all yielded the same result. can someone email me and help me?

really loved this phone but i wanna ask 5 things just to make sure before i go and buy it.
1-how much does it cost>?
2-can i download anything to it(programs)like NOKIA does?
3-as i have seen i have to make a push to round the screen so that i can push #s,is that right?does it get ruined after a while??
4-do i get a memory 512mb with the phone just as it is with K750i,W800i?
5-is ther such a thing like made in JAPAN?and which is better,china or japan ?????

This phone is one of the most perfect phones that I ever see,I luv bluetooth, I luv infrared, I luv the usb cable... I just doný like so much of sony ericsson, but is nothing personal, I just don´t know it so much... Who knows someday... Good luck to Sony Ericsson... Beloved Girl

this phone is really cool and rocks all the way and has everything one can ask for the amount of HDD is awsome it has 3g to i would like to get my hands it before any of my friends do that would make em soooo jealous of me hee hee hee...but i guess i will have to wait for the price drop its way to expensive here in Pakistan around Rs.40000

I bought this phone 5 days ago. Black W900i . I really love it- it is a great phone. Here is what I have found :
Pros : Great gorgeous screen QVGA
Great specifications
HUGE memory - 470 Mbs in phone and I got a 512 Mbs memery stick as a special offer - all in all nearly 1 gig worth of memory !
This phone is fast moving through the
menu.
The phone does not lag like the Nokia
N70 ( whcih I had till 5 days ago )
The games are great.
Sound is excellent
The swivel action is fine - I had my doubts about it but it actually works very well .I read comments about the key lock and how SE should have had automatic keylock when you swivel shut the phone - but to be honest- it makes no difference- the dedicated key lock on the side of the phone is excellent .
I also read comments about the phone being bulky- it is not- it appears so in pictures but held shut in the palm of your hand it is no different to the feel of the Nokia N70 .It is actually quite a small phone especially ,the black version makes it even more dinky.

The phone is built extremely well too- definite quality in the plastic and metal casing. You will not be disappointed with that.
I am not a great Sony Ericcson fan ( Nokia was my No.1 ) but this phone is definitely a winner. It is sleek ,smooth ,fast, powerful and worth the money you pay for it.
Cons : Battery Life- this phone can go from 100% to about 25 % battery life in less than 12 hours if you use it alot - like to email, play games ( especially to play games ) and general tinkering around with the menu and functions.
The SE PC Suite ,Disc2Phone software is not very good. The USB cable connection has also caused people problems - where the software does not detect the phone in File transfer Mode.
I have had big problems with this- I have been unable to transfer ANY music or photos into the phone yet.
I do not recommend this phone to anyone who does not know ,much about Blue tooth , USB drivers ,etc.
Also, if you do not remove the USB cable safely - you can corrupt your Memory Stick PRO Duo and the phone !
My Bluetooth does not work with the PC Suite software either - something else to sort out.
Now, despite this - I am optimistic that with some help from the right people- SE and the dealer I bought his phone from - these problems will be solved.
However considering this is THE Walkman phone and this its music storage and play capabilties is what makes this phone stand out from the rst, I would say ,it is disappointing.
Lastly and not leastly - the SE website is quite crap - they do not have much support up for the W 900i .
The manual that comes with the phone is also quite rubbish - unclear - the manual assumes we are all computer geniuses ( which I am not and I am sure a lot of people are not too ! )
I hope you find this helpful.
In conclusion- I LOVE this phone and I will get the media transfer problem sorted , I am sure.
I can honeslt say after being a Nokia N70 owner that this phone beats it any time despite the teething problems I have experienced so far.
The Nokia N series is quite boring in comparison whereas this phone is simply cutting edge.
