sony ericsson is top of the range handsets.
i had a t610,excellent battery life.i think this W900 will certainly do well in the market. lets hope the battery can hold up just as well as the phone...peace up.

Hi every one I just got the w900 and was woundering if any one knows what format files are neede to down load video to the phone eg. mp4, 3gp, wav,and so on and can you tell me where to get a good converter thanks alot

btw u guys say a lot of negative comment on the mp3 wen it is turn on to the loudest..izzit realli tt bad?? bcox i tot tis is a walkman phone & even it is turn on to the loudest it would still be as clear???n nw the 2nd batch had arrive in singapore so will there still be a software problem??ani1 reply asap? cox i maybe buying tis phone veri soon ...thanks a lot

Hi frankly yes i love this phone and its technical features is A+.The reality is that i wouldn't want to part $1300 for a product that is made entirely out of PLASTIC!Come On SE i trust you guys to be more professional and class in your design!

Is it Voda UK you're with?? If so, you could buy the phone from them for a fee, but if you're only 4 months into your contract I'd think that fee would be quite high. Plus once they know you have money to spend they'll be on your case with telesales calls forever.....
The only way to get out of your contract early would be to buy out of it which would be a case of paying the total of your remaining line rental.
One way you may be able cut that cost is if you lower your tariff to the bare minimum line rental, wait a month or so, and then cancel your contract. If you talk nicely to the person on the other end of the phone you may then be able to buy out the contract based on the lower line rental. They have every right to charge you based on the original, higher rental as it'll be a clause in your contract, but like I say, if you sweettalk the person on the other end of the phone (maybe a sob story about how you can't afford the bills any more) you'd be surprised at what you can get away with......

am on contract and 4 months into it but want this due to lots of reasons and the phone that i have at moment is not to my liking...My question is can i upgrade at a fee ,,,or can i pay 7 months off so im at the upgrade mark,,,,or will have to buy out my contract???im on voda,,,plus ive seen the phone and its not that big and have seen the video shots plus it seems that all upcoming 3g phones at the moment sre stuck at the silly 176 x 144 resolution exept for the n6280 at vga res but its deadpan to look at.thanks,,heres looking forward to owning a decent spec fonr.

I have this fone and believe me its awesome..no problems at all....just in love with my sony ericsson....been using nokia earlier but dont regret this change at all....

If you have a good old read of the last 10 or so pages of this forum, you'll see there have been a couple of cases of software trouble with the W900 but other than that its a superb phone with excellent features. Good camera, good screen, good walkman function. Good design & form factor. All good really.....
And don't worry that you've not had an SE before - the SE Operating System is surprisingly intuitive and it'll only take a few days to get used to, and anyone will tell you that functionally, the higher-end SE phones are excellent.
As for waiting for the N91, well, by the way things are going, mobile phones will be obsolete and we'll be communicating by the power of thought before the N91 is released...... I wouldn't waste your life away waiting for that if I were you......

i want this phone but i am a bit scered i will not like it for a long time
and i have not had a sony ericsson before
i like roto phones or spin they loke cool
i want to now whow is it when it get old from the users and shold i grt it or wait for the N91 so i want it but a bit scered

if i use w900 listen MP3 music the sound nice or not? :( .. my area here dun have a shops to test this phone w900, if want have this phones have to order ..so i need you guys opinions . thanks a lot you guys :)

hmm i dunno what u guys mean by the white screen.. i get the white screen everytime i disconnect my phone from the usb i seems the phone is doing some kind of reboot ~ after pressing the menu button a few time a wait about 30sec my phone comes back to life~ so perhaps i don't have problem? or is that a problem? please i need ur helpppppp

Lol... i nearly bought this baby... but to be frank... unless you own phones other than w800i or k750i... this is not worth upgrading... or unless you are the-in-guy... go ahead... this phone rox hell loads of it... ^^ but the sound is trouble...so fu** the sound of the w900i..
for u guys who dream about this phone.better change ur mind!!!its truly cannot support ms duo..only support ms pro duo!!!

ms duo more larger size then ms pro duo.
so..w900i cannot fit the ms duo(non pro).

ms duo and ms duo pro is the same but ms duo can reach size about 256mb whereas ms duo pro can reach 2gb.W900i accepts both ms duo and ms duo pro.

just bought w900i.the speaker not do very well when open loud speaker.f*** phone.
the sound is rubbish!!!better buy e398 motorola.
frusted because i bought this phone,without knoe the rubish sound when open maximum loud speaker...!!!

i was bought w900i in singapore today...
when i open loud speaker for song.the sound get noisy..and the speaker not quite good as sony said.whuwhu..how can i sattle this problem.
