I have had the phone almost a month now. I bought it off of ebay in white. The battery life remains pretty bad, requiring a charge almost every 1 1/2 days. Also added a 2gb card and am really enjoying this phone.

I am really considering buying this phone. If i do, do u think that i will have to worry about the White Screen?

it depends of the shop or service provider whether to give away memory card anot... from the newspaper i read this few days.. some of the shop like Arrow are sellin it at ard 888 if u sign a singtel plan.. and some shop (not singtel , starhub or m1) which have more service like the 3 i mention above.. give free memory card (512mb) so its better to shop ard in singapore to find the best price wif the best deal~ cheers

To anyone that already owns the W900:
Do any of you guys actually get anywhere near the 370 hrs (15.5 days) standby time on your phone? I find that the battery life on my w900 isn't so good. Any tips on how to increase its life? If you take the charger out too early on its 1st charge for whatever reason, do you royally screw your battery up?

Okay, I got this phone december 23rd. Have babied it and made sure not to drop it, get it wet, etc. Last night I put it down on my table, and this morning I picked it up I got what people in posts are calling "WSOD" or white screen of death. I am so pissed I wanted to hit the guy at the store in the head with it over and over again. They offered no assistance and after contacting sony ericsson, all they could offer was for me to mail it to them and wait for what could be up to 3 months. I guess I am just bummed out because I loved the phone so much until it decided to retire. Any ideas on how to fix it without sending it back?? Thanks

i just bought a w900 but it doesnt como with my region configuration(mexico) for gprs,csd,or mms does anyone know how to make it work or to install a software to makeit work it only comes on english version not the spanish one,.thanks

To victor: W900/W900i/W900c will not come with any memory stick in their original SE packaging, this is understandable due to it's large internal memory. You can easily get another memory stick duo pro (1Gb) for about 100 singapore dollar I believe or even less.

Singapore version of the w900i doesn't gif u a free mem stick, i brought 1 outside hello orchard roadshow at 1198 SGD and have an addition of free 512mb mem stick pro duo

why are you trying to convert your video files into Mpeg layer 4.well if your fone is symbian or nething like that get 3gp converter or simply smartmovie converter i converts to AVI ( audio video interface).see ya

Okay everyone i bought the fone, it turns out to have better recption then the k750 even tho its a triband. First impression of the fone is wow the large screen is nice but holding the thing in your hand you feel its rather large but on the positive side it seems light compared to its size. Answering the fone is pretty weird because you cannot open the fone to answer you must press the left soft key which i think is a lacking feature. Sound quality from the built in speaker is almost smilar to the k750i but its not as good as the d600 with duel speakers. Imaging for this fone is excellent and much like the review operation of this thing takes time to get use to.

If you search in Google for "Convert MP4 to 3GP" in the inverted commas then you'll get a load of results. You may have to pay for it, but there are generally loads of freeware programs about.

can ne 1 tell me how the video/picture qualities are compared with a sammy D600?
i am serious thinking about buying a w900i, but i want to know wich 1 is tha best with picture/ video.
and if the phone's internal memory is full how is the working speed of the phone when scrolling trough menu's? is it slow? or is t normal?

to the person who imported the mpeg, you need to convert it to 3gp format to get it to work
