i dunno who had suggested on the writer to work on a review for this phone !!!!!!!
BY the way... there's a new company sellin this phone under the "check price " list ... 750 $ again...nothing new...
i am still concerned about the plemix site ...it's really a good price :)

White color is the first color launched in HKG market. Feels good and it is a bit lighter than I expected. Functions is similar as S700. Video in 3G is smooth. Overall performance is satisfactory.

i just got this phone today in New York.and i pay only $700 on it by cash deal. i try all the system and it's perfect espacialy the Video it's kool just like what u see with ur eyes. damn i like it ....

About 900 when pushing the button till image captured and saved it takes about 4sec and and without autofocus about 2 sec,the saving time is about 1 sec, i never use autofocus because there is no big difference if you use it or not.However the annoying thing is that when you set to macro mode then the autofocus is used by the phone and i dont understand why is this happenning

Ah Ken2.5 posted while I was typing! There's your answer Mokh, and thanks for the info Ken2.5, it's good to hear the "big sticks" will be compatitible with the W900 even more reason to buy it...Plemix seems a good bet right now!!!

Cheers for that Dazz...thats obscene how they manage 32 gig on a 1.2mm thin card is beyond me...
Had a look at the plemix site you spoke of Mokh, not used the site before although the name plemix certainly rung a bell, so if its some kinda scam its an elaborate one, they take paypal for a start and it even has a feedback section (bottom right of homepage) I'd say the site looks kosher but its best to wait to hear if someone's used the site, why not make a few more quick posts on other forums in gsmarena there's bound to be someone out there who's used it...

Mokh- they are reliable. why do you think that gsmarena would put them on their site.
TO ALL. there will never be a 34GB mem stick. firstly it is impossible, secondly it is improbable, and thirdly, well i can't think of another long word starting with 'im'.
ANYWAY Sony say that theoretically the MEM Stick Micro will have a maximum memory of 32GB. since it is the latest and most advanced, if it reaches only 32(future) then there will be no 34. also if you look at the binary coded they come in 8 didgits. the expansion of memory normall follows this pattern, or is multiplied by 2(2-4-8-16-32-64-128-512-1024) just like with a hard drive.
Oh and the 32GB micro will only be available in12-14months. but will be compatible with w900 when released(adapter like used in sony pro duo)

is it possible? 652 $$$?
R these sites reliable? did anyone buy from one of these sites before? how come this site can sell this phone at this price? do they send to all countries?

striker m8 iv u click on d "more news" colum nx 2 d news (its a grey colour) it has a section about advanced mem card duo tech due out in d future, 1 ov d specs r Maximum Capacity
32GB (Theoretical) *2
I must say dat dis is early stage ov development, however d W900 wil not support 1 ov dese as it wil onli suport 2gb as it shows on d specifications maby a firmware update may change dis in d future.

Nope, you cannot completely switch off the shutter sound. I believe there are different sounds to choose from, but no mute.
34Gb Memory card? U serious? U sure this card exists?? Sounds like a hard drive to me mate, I work in the industry and have never seen or heard of such a product.
You ask, is the picture clearer? Clearer than what? Clearer than the W800? Clearer than Nseries? Clearer than S700i? Clear as mud that one mate!
From the pics I've seen it doesn't seem to have a lens protector but the casing does seem to be slightly raised so lens damage shouldn't be a problem.

@ Homer as far as i no bluetooth 2.0 is like bluetooth 1.2 but a bit faster, wiv a wider range and has beter conectivity

hopefuly d camera delay has improved d delay on the k750 woz under a second and les dan half a second on d w800 so i tink d w900 wil b in dat range, r there n e fones dat av instant capture?

To All who have the W900i - can someone please let me know roughly how long the delay is from pushing the camera button to the image being captured? - The S700i had an annoyingly long delay which wrecked a lot of my pictures I'm hoping SE've resolved it, so if anyone can shed any light on this I'd appreciate it, I'm sure people coming here would rather see information like that than reading Dazz and me nattering about Man United!
