Striker-this is still the only shop around here that sells it. i am waiting for my service provider vodacom( an afiliate of vodafone) to get it so i can upgrade. hopefully like at that place itself() the price will drop with the increase of availability.
woo- have you tried using the walkman mode in offline mode, because in most of the statements it says that you can use it like that for 37 hours.
Rex- they are very similar in sound quality.w800 is wonderful. w900 is the same. in terms of earphone they are the same(use the same software and hardware). in terms of onboard speaker quality, w550 should be better because it has dual features.
TO ALL- do not worry about availability. if by DEC 8 Vodafone does not have it in stock/on promotion, then they and others will have it by DEC 18-24 so that there will be a christmas rush

I seriously think the battery could've been better. I think it's kinda weak, compare to what they say on review, I really don't think thats correct. Like I stated on my previous post when you have earpiece hooked on the phone it drains the battery especially when you hav the power on from your earpiece.

I waiting for this phone to release in Spore2. also concern on the battery life as my previous SE phones battery has been rather week. to those who already has W900 can comment on this since this is a walkman phone. batterlife is very important

to woo,,can you compare battery life to any other phone you have?ive just got rid of the samsung d600 because battery useless for me & what color have you got,,im going to get mine sim free but can only find black ??white only seems to be vodafone-trust them..i was all for n90 but not prepared to put up with useless batterys all time & as 2 of my best lasting batterys are in my p900 & k75oi maybe this not to bad remembering its 3g but i switch mine to 2g when not using 3g for downloading etc thankx

Well here's the latest update about this phone, I called the place I bought this phone from and spoke to the technician and unfortunately they aren't familiar with the issue. Voice dialing is so conveniant so that make up the phone book issue. Other than that this is one of the best phone on the market til Nokia N92 comes out or something.....I'm still gonna be SE fan all the way.....

thats more expensive than my baritone guitar..... what is this???
it's only 2 mp but still a good phone... plus 2gb memory expansion...
i've seen the specs and reviews bout moto e1120, a gorgeous looking phone w/ 3mp camera but lacking battery life and i heard motorola cancelled the production of this phone...
imho, an ultimate phone should have these features:
- 3-4 mp camera, good in a4 sized prints, if you want a good camera, go buy urself a digital camera instead.
- wma player that can play mp3s n videos...
- hard drive... 5 gb is enough for a phone...plus memory expansion
- the thickness must be 7mm

cheers woo m8, finaly sum 1 haz cum 4ward wiv sum official feedbak on it, d past week sum ppl av bin claimin dat day av it but nevr tel us n e tin bout it, so again tanxs an a hope sum 1 who haz ad a similar problem 2 d 1 u r experiencin now wiv another s.e modle can help u owt coz i cant m8 av not had n e problems wiv my s.es in d past.

Oh....1 bad thing about this phone is that you cannot charge the phone while your using headset that comes with the phone and if you play around with the phone it drain out the battery really fast. It has power button for the headset and if you just have headset attach to the phone with the headset power on that also drains your battery. I hope there's a seperate stronger battery on the market.
