    SsSa (no name)
if money is not an issue, maybe consider W900 but it does not have Symbian OS but has good camera & excellent music functions otherwise go for N70 bcoz it has Symbian OS, means wider compatibility for software/apps downloads for business/work, games and besides d price is juz almost half only against W900i! :)

i forgot the price is around $940!

oops, sorry, correction what i meant was:
SE must be kidding for overpricing this model!

      not:

"SE must be kidding for overpricing the price!"

(the price of W900i really surprised me that it really made me somewhat confused coz previously sum1 posted dat d price of W900i will be around $650 only!)

checked prices at WElectronics & Worldex, all i can say is:
too expensive (or as i may say very, very, very, very expensive!) for a phone having only 2mpx CMOS sensor! (if they include 2GB mem stick, then maybe i can say W900i's price is reasonable). SE must be kidding for overpricing the price! i'd rather buy Nokia 3250 (when available 1Q 2006) or SE K750i phone ($400 approx) and Panasonic Lumix DMC LX1 digicam ($500 approx) for a total of approx $900++ than this overpriced W900i!

        Panasonic LX1 specs:
        -8.4 Megapixel 16:9 aspect CCD
-28mm wide 4x optical LEICA DC lens
        -MEGA O.I.S.(Optical Image Stabilizer)
        -Joystick-operated manual control
-Large 2.5” LCD monitor (207k pixels)
-Industry’s first 16:9 aspect Wide VGA moving image recording
-manual, auto, white balance plus presets
-Raw, TIFF and JPEG recording modes
        -Manual exposure and focus options
-1/2000th to 60 sec shutter speeds

as mentioned above it can offer you up to 848 x 480 (10 / 30 fps) (16:9) video capture/playback resolution with sound! and besides LEICA lenses are way better than Carl Zeiss lenses (for me).

http://soundtech.com.cy decided not to sell this model up until it will be same price as a Nokia N70!! We found stock but it is early stock and a few people want to make extra money. W900 is 15% more weight than N70 and similar spec. Buy a Nokia N70 and upgrade the MMC card to 512MB!!

Dude ,even they can make those 8MP camera phones, but what about those camera's the camera is still 4~8MP.
so i don't really think they all allready have the phone with 8MP.i think they r still try to decide or making more auction or still have problens on it.

i see that all the people here are arguing about the camera and stuff...but i just see the camera and the tv and the other stuff just as a most welcomed add-ons, not the real reason why i would buy a phone.
and really...when someone here wrote about 8 mpix phones....i just laugh, imagine that the phone with that big 8 mp sensor in it...will be awfully slow at saving a picture, and much more shortcoming like "room" for other features.
i personally love the new nokia mobiles because those are smartphones, great for business and not for just making a picture and a video. for that......buy a professional camera :)
                            all the best

                            ---->
lolxxx.. you laughing at 8 MP camera phone? gosh.. you should have been laughing at ur favourite nokia for still using 3MP tech. I bet you have no idea how fast the new samsung's 8MP camera phone is.. you'd better not to shout really. after all.. even the standard digital camera in market are just 4-7MP. I am not korean, but i am sure that most ppl in korea (except the professional photographers) won't even bother looking for a real digital camera.

To those who do not understand, can just skip this paragraph. Unless you are really really really into photography, that you need option to set the ISO from 50-3200 (like nikon), EV from 0-7.0, shutter speed of 1/1000, CCD sensor with carl zeiss lens and autofocus including spot photometry and set up for autofocus range, white balance for various conditions, aperture range of F3.0-F5.4/, flash modes include the red eye reduction, image ratio of 4:3, 30 fps MPEG-4 video recording VGA res (btw.. samsung already make one, SCH-V770 has VGA res video recording), optical zoom up to 10X--> to peep girls maybe?

If you do not know how to use the above function in the high end digital camera, why would you bother to seek one? after all, you only need to push the camera button and expect to have a good picture with as minimum adjustment as possible. And camera phone will satisified your casual need of taking picture for the normal daily life.
Thus, a good camera phone is needed and the fact shows that the demand for camera phone has increased in year 2005, and in 2006 (whether you like it or not) you will see more of the 3-5MP camera phone make by YOUR NOKIA, sony ericsson, as well as other company. See? haven't you realise how slow nokia is in developing technology?

                                Hi ken2.5,
Thanks for the info. Apparently all are given with preorder status. Hence, I would conclude that this W900 is still not officially launch but soon to come. Thanks Guys for the help.

yes.. i am agree with ken 2,5. Not even N92 nor N80 and the rumours of the refine version of the N92 uses new technology that are purely developed by nokia. In fact they are using Korean's company technology---> 3MP with optical zoom is not a great news at all in korea.. they already have 8 MP camera fone with optical zoom and other features in the middle entry digital camera function.

DBH-TV technology is first developed by LG, since they already has the news posted by GSMarena last time. Basically.. if nokia phones has been sold to korean market, they would simply laugh at the features.. and probably N92 and N80 will only be used by little kids in the elementary school (not really a kidding, but just as information, kids in korea has 3-5MP camera fone and that is just a normal phenomena)
