Perfect design! Perfect functions...? This phone should be an update version of w800i. Hopefully, unlike w800i, the camera len cover should be automatically switched on/off by just clicking on a button. Advancement in radio which the sound ought to be recordable. Hmmm...the quality of recorded video in w800i doesn't look good as it does while recording. That's a con and should updated on w900.

hey jakku, why do you need 64-cord (or 128 or whatever) polyphonic when u can use mp3 as your ringtone? mp3 is way much more realistic. and walkman brand is for music jakku, not midi (or polyphonic for that matter).

a whopping 470mb shared memory? what a shocker. i'm impressed. unfortunately, the phone is slightly heavy and bulky. may not goes well with my jeans pocket. And the color looks a little conservative.

just amazing full of everything...please anyone compare it with samsung d600 and nokia n90.i think no comparison at all with nokia n90,but sound system is quite compareable with d600.

Why everybody is talking about 40 polyphonic tones. The phone has Mp3 and other popular music formats. And guess what you can use as a ring tone. :-)

D600 might have a worse camera for macro zoom and it has far less memory but the D600 from Samsung is a much better MUSIC phone than this 40 cord slider. Only thing working for this phone over the D600 is it's UMTS and HTML browser.

IF it's suppose to be a music phone in general, wielding the old-fashion "Walkman" name so... WHY IS IT ONLY 40 CORD POLY?

Oooh. Killler! Nokia Nseries: N for No way can Nokia beat Sony when they're making things like this which are really versatile and you can have it in two colours. Some ppl I know don't like W800's oranges and cream look. They think it's icky and hard to keep clean.

Boy am I ever glad the W8 00 was not avaiable when my son in law came home from Iraque through Dubai. This sounds like the perfect Phone, Camera, Radio, Mp3 player, for me. I walk 4 miles every day & love to listen to either radio or music on my present 15 yr old Sony Walkman, of which my kids laugh at the size of it. I will also be able to take good photos of the early sunrises along the beach, with the 2 megapixel camera, along with golf swing sequences, with the Video. All of this will be able to be acheived with the one small but unique device of the Sony Walkman W900. That is if I can talk my son in law into picking one up for me on his way home through Dubai again. Sounds like the best 3-in 1- phone I have read about in all my hours of web studies, as to what I have read about so far. Oh boy, is this 60 year young GERIATRIC going to have the patients to wait for me new Black W900. Come on Sony get it released yesterday for this lad 2day. Thank you Sony.

You can not, it's comming at the end of this year. But this phone is way bigger and way fatter than the reasonable 750i. It is a shame.
