u can use radio tru the fm radio headset.radio feature is not internal to the phone itself. this external radio accesory can only be use to a w900, not applicable to other walkman series. if you buy this unit be sure that it has on its package.

Fatboy, phone is way too big in dimensions.
the W serie from SE is very good, but I dislike this one.

a flip phone like this with the same dimension except it has a bigger screen would and a swivel screen would be great!!! errrr in short a sharp 903 body with SEW900 inside would rock!!! and i hate it when people scream for making mobiles smaller Y_Y

Haven't got this phone yet, ordered it today, but thought I'd clear up a few things about it, since I've been researching for a fair while.
Firstly, yes this phone has been discontinued, but some places are still selling it. It has been dropped in favour of the W950 (a smartphone with no camera, and completely different to this model) and is more akin to the W810 but has QVGA video which is much better quality and resolution, and the music quality is apparently better also (less harmonic distortion and lower noise floor, a very good thing especially for listening with custom earphones). The W850, also similar, lacks an autofocus in the camera, and so it doesn't even come close to the W900 in camera quality (you'd only be able to view pics on the W850, since viewing them on the computer would look very bad)
This phone is superior to all of the other Walkman phones with each of its major functions: sound, camera, memory space, plus it has 3G capabilities and 3D acceleration for games.
It was released by SE as a kind of experiment to pack as many features as possible onto the phone. Because of this, it didn't have a very long lifespan. It was never intended to. And it's also expensive and rather large and heavy because it's an all-in-one device.
If you can look past the size and the price, it's one of the best out there, in my opinion. Much better than carrying around phone + camera + mp3 player + gaming device.
Another downsize is its lack of A2DP for streaming audio via bluetooth (for use with other devices such as playing music on another device or a pair of bluetooth wireless headphones). This may or may not matter to some.
One thing I'm unsure about though is whether it has mass storage functionality. The review says it doesn't, but other reviews says it does. So which is it?
Top phone, don't have it in my hands quite yet, but it's safe to say this phone was completely understimated by a lot of people. Now I just hope they will make future phones with as many functions in a smaller size.

try to master reset your phone....
ooops... before you do that you must back up your dta to your memory card.master reset will help you to refresh the software of your unit. master reset is located in settings of the phone, choose reset all, a prompt will appear for a code, the default phone lock code is 0000......then thats it....

eio..w900i costs about P30,000+, more or less. i also want the same phone.
i also checked e-bay and the 2nd hand w900i's cost around P20-25,000.00

There is no specific folder for Java Games. all you need to do is tranfer the games (the installation file) into ur MS card, put in a folder easily accessible to you, load into ur phone, go to the folder in the MS Card and install it, once installed the phone will ask you to store the installed game in the "Games" directory of the phone, just select yes or no. then you can delete the installation file in the MS card. Done.

hay guyz im just gonna buy the w900i but im confused coz some of my friendz say the progam of this phone waz cancelled and the phone too waz cancelled but otherz tell me no its still running on so plz can somebody help me with that oh and i wanna know is the sound system in cool or wat ad does it give loud soundz

to install games to ur w900...
try to put your game file to your memory stick by using mmc reader.put it on the "other" sub folder on your mmc duo.
before we use a game,we should install it first.
view it on the file manager, and install them each.when you click a certain game file a prompt "install" will atomatically appear then thats it. enjoy playing...
