Finally..I can't believe I actually have this phone. It is gr8!!! I used to be a Nokia user, last mobile being the N90. What a waste of money! The N90 was so huge and the CZ lens was nothing more than a gimmick in my opinion. The SE w900i though is awesome! Ask anybody who has it. Trust me, ppl will hover around u to catch a glimpse of it!
Every store in my country is sold out! And it was only launched a few days ago..and not even officially as yet! The WALKMAN rules!

I had to obtain the firmware via DaVinci.
But I had to figure out everythign on my own.
Research, and learn from mistakes, that's how it is.
I get bored, and I just watch music video's on mine, and family guy episodes...
it's pretty cool.
The one bit I have on the nack the of the phone, is probably the Volume on the headphone.
Could be louder, but it still okay. If yuo put the earpiece in, it works ever greater.
The Ringer on my phone is hella loud,especially with the customized ringtones I intergergreted on my phone.
It's pretty cool, can't complain.I've had this phone for like 2 - 3months now.
I'm happy with it.

IT'S superb.i had an n90.but carl zeis loses2 w900.normaly the speaker sounds cool.but when ringing it more loud.i havn,t hard better then this in mobile.it can make u proud when u use this. i reccomand this phone though its expensive.it has cool apps.buy and enjoy.i was a nokia user. the n90.itdonthav vibration .so avoid using expensive noks.buy w550 cant buy this. ferdous.syl@gmail.com

Normaly Sony Ericsson has a magic thing.
One some one deal with this lable, he`ll never change it..
As the computers are available in our offices,houses,..etc we need something which is different, I found that at W900.

Dude the phone does support video calling hence it is a 3G phone. All you have to do is push the button the center button below the navigational keys. Then all you need to do is push "call.." and select a number who you wish to call. There is one catch though you have to be in a 3G network and the person you are calling also has to be in a 3G network and they also need to have a 3G phone. So yes it is network dependant!

i just got this phone for 3 weeks and it awsome i reccommend other to get it but i have one problem. i just figure out the video call and i dont know how to use it. if anyone have any idea about it please email me. is it just work with phone that have video call or its depend on your operator service. Please Help

I just got a W900i yesterday and the bluetooth wont work. My old phone can see it but not connect and the w900i cant see anything. Is there an special option (apart from the obvious options on the bluetooth menu!) that i need to activate?

Whatever..I can take criticism, but it comes to a point where people are dumb and don't know what they are talking bout. Get your facts straight before you come on here and rant. If you don't have the phone, then dont input what you know how to do(based on "IF" u had the phone)
I personally updated my phone, n started from scratch, flashing the newest firmware on it.
It runs like a charm now.
the newest firmware out should be
RBB001.
Others might have the RAF001 of RAH001.
If you go thru the phone and select UPDATE Service, 90% of the time, you will not get new firmware/updates.
Cause SE doesn't really connect it via phone scan thru networks.
Everyone is entitled to thier own opinion.
As for the person who said I got tricked into not getting a 512mb stick, your a tard.
It's based on certain aspects of area's of your seller, some boxes come with the 512mb SD mD card, some don't. And thank you for that individual who has stuck up for me.

I came on here with the intention to give you a first hand review of the phone, under my own basis. I've had this phone pretty much damn near when it first came out.
i've tested the firmwares...and all the updates.
I'm not saying I'm an expert @ this phone or hacked the phone, but I've pretty much gone thru lengths with this phone and I'm pleased with it.
There are no stupid questions, just stupid people.
The people who are stupid are the ones that usually don't ask questions, or the onse who don't read back to previous replies, when answers are already given.

It's one of the best phone that sony ericsson ever made and i don't think that there is a phone that can bet it these year.

the w900 is better
pros:
Better screen 240*320 vs 176*220
Its a walkman which means better playlist support
3G support for fast data transfers
cons:
bigger and heavier
No embedded radio

1) The W900 has a 240x320 pixel screen
While the K750i has a 176x220 pixel screen
*HAS THIS ANYTHING WITH CAPTURING PICTURES AND VIDEOS' RESOLUTION OR IT'S JUST THE SCREEN SIZE??
2) Which mob is better: The W900 or the K750i and why? Would be great if you mentioned pros and cons for both.

w900i actually is a Best phone
But eventhought i write taht it h as some critism
The sound is the worst among the walkman althought the price si the most expensive
the design is so great you will like it
Memory is to much 470mb memeory+512 froms ony ericson as a bonus
the sound is lauz than k750i
but of course better the no us e nokia brand
SE is the best choic ejust trust me]
