Anonymous, 25 May 2008always I used Nokia mobiles for more than 7 years and now i... moreabout the software problems? That was the past.
The new update firmware from Sony Ericsson make a much difference.
Sound Quality improved, Performance become much faster, no more restarting and freezing, etc..

w910 has better features, but w580 looks so much better especially in white.
Let's face it looks = win.

always I used Nokia mobiles for more than 7 years and now iam thinking to use Sony Ericsson mobiles, after i asked my friend said to me to use W910i, but i heared from one person it had software problem and now from these opinions i confused if this mobile is good or not?!!!! plzzzzzzzzzzz tell me the true is good or not?!!!!

overall, W910 is much better than W580...
I have W910 and i really love it!!
And... between W890 and W910. I think W910 is slightly better with auto rotate, shake control, and audio quality..
But W890 have 3.2 MP while W910 only have 2 MP camera (it doesn't matter for a music phone isn't it?)
One more, between W760 and W910. I think they both are quite the same, except the GPS and Video Call Function...
it's just a matter of priorities..

No but seriosuly,
everyone i know who has this phone has problems with it.. i only know one person that works in the phones4u shop that has this phone and it works!
Its sleek design just disguises the faults inside it..

this pjone really suck! i hate it went to svc ctr sooo many times a lot of prob! hangs is one of the major probs another is auto shutdowns and also

Hi, I work at a local GSM shop in downtown Toronto and I will tell you straight up that this is one of the best phones I've ever seen in it's class.
It is well worth your money. And if you're into modding the phone, XS++ is on the case of cracking the CID 53 code so it's only a matter of time before you can put in your own flash themes and stuff. Pretty cool!

dont try to download files then you will have a software problems. if you get the W910I new charge it for the first 5 times full and take out the charger and youse it until its flat. never leave your charger in your phone over night you will c in the long term the battary will last longer

I believe it uses J2ME as a Java Platform. It should say so in the Specification Tab on this site.
Also to others, please don't report this phone as bad when you're having a defective issue. Simply, get it replaced/repaired. No point in down rating a phone when the problem you're having is something that can be easily fixed with a simple firmware upgrade or repair from SE.
