Hi John,
I'd go for the W910i. Seems to hear much more issues with the 5610 compared to W910i. I've just bought mine 3 days ago.

This phone is RAD. i love it so much. you will not be dissipointed but it does come with a heafty price tag.

GUYS is it just me or are the new walkmans REALY REALLY not tht loud i mean my W850i is louder than the 2 new walkmans(W960i,W910i)
so Sony if ur reading pls pay attention to ur LOUDNESS the quality is amaznug but the loudness..cmon guys...the speakera aint ahlf bad but the headsets ARE just not loud enuf

I have had this phone since it came out the only problem is that it is very slow and it crashs regularly apart from that a very good phone

hey jojo,
I had the same dilemma, and originally went for the viewty. Loved it for two months but it wore off. Has 3 skins (plus 1 extra on Orange) but doesn;t auto rotate.
still a good phone but I went back to SE and got the W910i which I think is triffic and I much prefer it to LG. It's a personal thing though I guess, but I keep trying other brands (nokia, motorola, LG) but I always end up back with SE's, and the W910i is the best SE I've had, I have not been dissapointed.
Viewty a bit gimicky for me and no real developement by LG, but I wouldn;t slag it off, I just prefer this model.

Bravo SE, this is a verry god music phone. I own it for a mounth and everything seems nice. Verry god product quality, very! Good batery life.

hi guys,
is there any way to transfer SMS to PC with dates of sending for both inbox and outbox ???
i have tried 3 software:
1)Sony Ericsson PC Suite 3.0
2)floAt's Mobile Agent 2
3)MyPhoneExplorer
for all 3 software it is OK to have dates of receiving SMS, but for messages in the outbox the date would not displayed?
any suggestions?

This is the best phone of the year and also awarded so on.
The best music oriented phone without a 3.5mm stereo out, big display is essential for music because there's only one skin for walkman player, all we love single speaker for overlapped and harsh sound, we hate camera in music phone so there's an old 2mp cam without flash and this best phone has best features as auto rotate and auto restart.

I'm here in the US,and I just got an w910i(Brown). With in two hour's my w910i started turning off and on all the time,and now it won't take a charge! It is totaly dead! Help!! I've read it is a software problem,but now I can't even do a software update to it from sony ericsson. Because my battery must be fully charged,and now it won't charge at all! Any idea's or solutions from anyone? Thanxs/Cheers

just as W880, the W910 is a phone you will love. all software problems are solved in between and the phone really works fantastic. Yes you will love it

number of songs depends the mem. card you put in the mobile. The mobile support mem card till 8GB. that means songs for about 5 days non stop music at 24H/ day. must be OK I guess

i really like the phone design but i also want to have loots of music in it so i'm really confused whic hoe should i take the nokia n81 i like its memory but i don't like its buttons ,or the sony ericson w880 i like that one a lot but i'm luking for a slider phone so a bit confused there

I have this phone for 1 month but i prefer my old w900i.(unfortunately my w900 broke and now SONY ERICSSON DISCONTINUED it.... ouf)

This/most SE phones are bad in noisy surrounding because the reception of the speaker microphone is too strong, which make it difficult for the other party on line to hear you clearly!!!
This is a real let down of SE phones! Those build-in handsfree speaker phones are of very low quality too!!!
What a let down in otherwise such a good phone manufacturer. SonyEricsson really need to make some improvement soonest with their up coming phones!

@Inactive SIM Problem..!!
It happens mostly because of the SIM not fixed properly in the slot or it happens bcause of the network issues, I had the later problem when I had K700i it's got nothing to do with phone, if you can try out different SIM in your phone you can make out the things easily.
