Coming from a W810 and now using the K850, even now, just to post this to you, sony ericsson phones are durable. Their mid-end W850 was aimed at the asian market and was built within it, that is why the quality of it is low. Their lower end W580 though only experienced the worst of what many slider phones face, the wobble, and even in some flip phones, it occures. No need to worry if it happens. As long as the slide up and down is strong or feels secure and sturdy otherwise, it will last you.

So far,this phone works great!!.Please wait for newer firmware to clear all the bugs in the first initial release.Get a replacement for the restarting issues.
I'm checking for newer firmware daily.I hope the new firmware will have a fix on the Walkman presets.

this phone look really good!
i've been waiting for this mobile to be launch here in UAE then i'll buy it.
but as of now its quite expensive, coz its new in the market.
do you think its worth it for me to buy this mobile?

btw, the game is cool, there are 3 games, i love the block challenge (tetris kind) and rally. The marble one bit confusing to me. You can also set up 5 alarm in a row. Woww..for those hard awake in the morning...there you go 5 alarm in 1. Lol

I got w910 for 2 days, it's cool at first compare to my old w810i. Bigger screen, more function. Though I'm upset there's no flash, I use w810i flash as a torch too :P. Then for w910 the keypad is bit soft, sometimes it is hard to press for texting, you gotta press right in the middle of it.

the design and features are excellent but i really wish if it was white in colour.can we expect white colour ?

W910 or Prada, I have both. wish is better ?
difficult to say, is complete different mobile. W910 has perfect functions, Prada is poor on options but gives so much fun while using it. maybe go W910

this phone.. rocks. the sound is really loud. my sister scolded me cause it was too loud.=D but it's really good. the battery runs out only IF you call and talk on the phone a lot. but if you text a lot, i guess it's fine. but this phone is really nice. if you're a music person, you won't have any regrets buying this phone. but the camera doesn't have flash but it doesn't bother me though.

check the specs
and buy what suits your needs.
you're music lover? buy w890,
photographs? buy k850.
but if you want your phone
to have both good music and excellent photos
i suggest k850.
but it depends also which you prefer,
a slide phone or bar...

I want to buy Sony Ericsson phone. But I wonder whether to buy w910 or k850 ? Which do you think is better ?

i'm getting this phone tomorrow.. in black. do you really think it's a good choice? cause i'm am a music person.. especially classical music. i know, weird much! anyways, is it all that good? cause to me, from all the specifications, it seems really good! but reading all these comments(especially the ones that aren't good) makes me think twice whether i should buy the phone or not. please reply me asap if you have any advices.

If you're looking for a solution to this phone, there is none other then the successor to this phone which will be announced soon. Perhaps Sony Ericsson will go into their four digit series now, like the W1010 or something like that, or maybe the W1.
If the K850 received the K880, then you should see something for the W910 VERY SOON.
It'll probably have A-GPS, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, a graphics card within and maybe this time, dual or tri card support (M2, MicroSD, Pro Duo).
If you can't wait, and you're going to get something this year, go for the W910, unless paying 450 isn't your thing, and you also need a plan, or just don't want to spend much, W580 is around 300 unlocked, and around 100 for upgrades.
Going for Nokia is a no-no as that 5000 series phone that I saw many people judging it by is pretty bad. Atleast judge the N81 with it, because those two phones are on the same level. N81s going for roughly 700-800.

I owen Sony W910 but the price W910 is too much over rated for preformance really. It looks good on internet but it really does not perform as it looks or as it said. The mic on the phone is more sensative to sound around you than your voice to otherside if you are in noisey area. If I know all what I know today I would of not bought this phone. But I owen Sony P1i is great and has non of these problem with almost same price.

you might be abit dissapointed with the camera quality, but the sound quality is very good. it may not be the best among all, but enough to make it to the top10. but maybe you should spend some time reading the review that gsmarena made though, its better than asking us here. and one more thing, the price is abit overrated. buy it only if u can afford it.
to playlife,
im sick of ppl comparing w910 to 5610 without doing much research. so keep ur opinion to urself. oh btw, since 5610 has a really bad battery life.
