hm.. like if u have a low budget.. go for w580. but cost doesnt matter i wud go for w910
im a w910 user.. the interface isnt really slow.. its like other s.e pretty fast.
the slide mechism is wobbly. but s.e sed that they can tighten it up. but it wud for sure scratch the back of the slide.. tight enough so it wont fall off..
if u can wait longer.. wait for w910.. cuz most of the user have prob of restarting.. doesnt read memory card.. w910 i use have no prob. for w580 they have.. prob wit key cracking and they use walkman 3.0 interface while its a walkman 2.0
oh... and the thing that jump out on me wit w910 is the vid quality. if u put mp4 vid in there. its sooo clear.. its like again.. mini HD screen.. persoanlly. ya.. if u dont mind the time and price..
but if u have a budget issue go for w580.

can anybody tell me... should I buy W910i or W580i.. which one is better in performance, design and the sliding mechanism?
In features of cause W910i is better.. i heard W910i has slow interface, is it true?

i really like this fon cuz it gives me all the taht i need.i think eveone shd get a sony ericsson fon cuz it has all the technology.

This is a phone rich in feature and not to mention the motion sensor feature. we recently got a phone for a friend of mine and its cool but the phone feels a bit shaky with the sliding movement in just 4 days. And not good without auto focus and flash light.

LOVE IT! The wow factor with your friends is guaranteed. The screen is amazing, just like the new walkman features, but with it's 2MP camera, W910 adresses real music fans. If you need superior camera quality and don't care too much about design and lightness, go for K850.

i'm pinoy too.. i've been waiting for ds phone 2.. i heard from my gf's friend that it's already available in SM dasmarinas cavite.. but of course,.. to see is to believe.. i'm still waiting for my 13th mnth pay nwei.. i'm using a w580 now.. plan on swaping it nlng.. nwei.. i'm from paranaque dats y cant find tym to go to cavite.. pls do also post if you have news with this phone in your area as well.. thnx..

personally. i think this is a great phone.. i think u can but ur own animation.. im not sure. cuz i didnt do taht xD

i asked about the wobbly slide.
they could tighten up but if they do.. it woould be hard to open and it WILL scratch the back of the slide.. so its kind of a minor problem.. bout the cheap plastic...after a while.. u dont think its cheap. the feel the texture are more grippy so u wont drop the phone when u slide it. well. i have my w910i. for 3 weeks. its great. no prob.. the video quality is GREAT
its like a HD on ur phone. but..; the price is kinda.. unreasonable..but everything else. is 2 thumbs up

Jesus I am so confused right now: I love the Nokia 5310 design and the W910 as well still I am not convinced which one to buy.
Nokia 5310
- doesn't play video in 320x240, 30 fps, just 176x144, 15 fps ridiculous on the 16 mil color' screen
- can't customize main menu icons
- cheap plastic - although nice overall
- no multitasking :((, that means no IM, Web, game on background and music at the same time
W910i
- hate sub-main menu icons and animations
- hate the fact that it has a stupid custom headphone connector - even though it has an adaptor
- hate the fact that it has a 256 K screen (although it is big)
- ppl say it's cheap plastic
- very expensive
Also which of the two is better camera-wise :((

I have bought it yesterday and now it reseting in every one minute.I have reset(Master reset) it but it has no different!!?? I don't know what should I do!??

i got this phone 4 bout 3 days n it suffers a lot of problem.da speaker isnt dat gud,cant open da walkman,sum of da keys on da keypad cant b used,slide a lil wobbly-n itz so slow.dont buy diz phone.

bad decision to put the jack for the headphones at the side. negates the whole point of the phone being thin and all. it wouldn't be handy to put in your pocket.

phone is pretty bad for the price, common sony. no autofocus no flash? for $450? and the music quality isnt so good, even with higher quality earphones it doesnt get better. seems sony is all about looks with new phones. sure it sounds like my w810 but its no where as good as the nokia 5610(havent tested the 5310)
