Should be around 300 British Pounds.
Should be around 430 EURO.
Should be around 2200 AED.
Should be around 4650 HK dollars.
Should be around 660 Australian dollars.
Wait about 2 months, get a 1/8 of the price off.
Wait about 5 months, get nearly 1/3 of the price off.

i just had this phone and believe me its an absolute chaos.the only nice thing about it is that it looks nice and very very light in weight.now, the music feature is my problem.believe me,k750 plays tunes LOUDER AND CLEARER than this phone.the speaker is very very poor since w850 is louder than it.

I've been a Sony Ericsson fan for quite along time now, ever since the K750i first came out and that instantly became my new phone back then, 2 years ago?
And now...I've been considering changing into K850i or this W910i. Despite the amount of features on the K850i, the W910i still appeals to me more, due to its great design and its user interface.
A comment below stated that the user interface was poor? Sony Ericsson is trying to attract more customers by changing their interface so its similar to other interfaces on other branded phones like Nokia and Samsung. So in other words, if you liked Nokia's interface, I don't see whats a problem with Sony's new interface.
The phone's demos on youtube look really good as well.
Anybody know where the speakers are located though? Is it those 3 holes under tha battery on the back?

I got to play with a W910 in a Vodafone shop and here are my comments. I currently own a K800i but have no brand loyalty. I like what's good! 1) Very sexy indeed, large screen. 2) The build quality of the body and slider mechanism is excellent, way better than SE's other two recent sliders. 3) The keypad is membrane, and awful. Not real buttons and I found creating some test text messages a pain in the naughty bits. 4) The user interface while 'Sony like', is a disaster, and this is exactly the same comment being made about some of Sony's recent digicams that try to use the PSP/PS3 interface. a) The interface is VERY slow, my K800i is way faster. b) It is confused. One feature, such as the media browser, works like a PSP while other features work in different manner. c) The screen orientation sensor is unreliable and I could not get it to rotate back to normal after viewing a video. d) The menu text is too large and reminds me of a Samsung. Lacks the professional 'snappy' polish of the K800i menus, well, My K800i anyway. e) The menu logic is not as flexible as the K800i and this is very annoying. I cannot explain this, but if you like the intelligent manner in which SE implement their menu navigation, when you play with a W910, you will see what I mean. 5) Now the clincher, I plugged in my headphones and the sound was not that great, but then it was only the useless SE demo 'FX'. I was amazed SE do not include any demo tunes on the shop demo phone. 6) The camera is a mistake. Why not include an auto-focus 3MP like latest Nokias, Samsungs and K800i? I like music AND photos! 7) I really wanted to like this phone and replace my K800i, but the usability of the K800i plus it's acceptable music player mean I am going to keep it until something really worthwhile comes along. I think the K800i was/is a rare classic, like the original Nokia 'Matrix' phone and I'm keeping mine! 8) All said, the sexy design of the W910 mean it will sell well (based on the apparently very good sales of W580/S500) and provide iPhone haters and alternative. As for me, the only other phone I'm considering is the LG Viewty that is very innovative or the Nokia 6500 Slide, but we will see, as not yet played with either.

This is just a great phone!, I have never felt the need to bash other manufacturers, and i have had models from most suppliers, but SE just seem to get it right more than the rest of them. I'm very happy with e W910i.
I got mine free from Vodafone (UK) as an upgrade, nice gold colour too :) they are offering it free with most of their contracts too.

In Spain, preorder is
se w910: 500 euros
se w960: 600 euros
se t650: 450 euros
This w910 is FAR too expensive considering it has only 2 megapixels with no AF and is made of plastic--just pray not the same as the shameful w580 and its cheap plastic and faulty slider and breaking keys.

$499! Holy smokes!!
That's far too expensive for what competitors offer. I had been waiting for the W910i over W810i. I'm going for the latter which is half the price!!

I just buy today, 2 hours ago, this W910i. I pay for him 220 EURO and it is not from store, where is not available yet; from somebody who bring this phone from outside country. So the price should be less then 200 EURO....
I'm recharging the battery wright now, for 12 hours, it is the first battery chg. Starting tomorow morning I will play with him. Anyway it is incredible light and the display it's brilliant....

It's because they don't use cheap materials. Their plastic doesn't warp, though for sure, the steel on that thin slider will. I mean, it did already on my friend's 6300, and now it won't close properly 1/3 of the time.
That price seems kinda right. Just wait for a while, the price will drop.
For people who're too lazy to do the math, it's $610 in CAD and $612 in USD.

The Nokia 6500 Slide blows this phone away in just about every feature.
The build of the 6500 is way better. Camera is better. Steel is better than plastic. Display is better. UI is better. Slide mechanism is better.
Yet despite ALL this...the SE is more expensive.
SE...why do you always over charge for your phones??
