i also have this phone my grandad bought it for me ....it has beautiful features like slim and version of it on board i think we should give sven ericsson a chance

hsdpa is 3.6mps in speed i know because its how wireless modems are used facts needed to be stated

Regarding T9 :
Simply because you have no idea how to use T9. I suggest to you is go learn how to use it, it's much faster and convenient to use.
Anyway, about this phone it's a great phone , specifications is attractive. Only thing that is bothering me is when will SE release a 16 million colours phone? I am still waiting , SE. Hint Hint*

not to mention that SE's GUI(from menu, media gallery, walkman player, camera interface) is far, far ahead and more intuitive than nokias :P

Here are some things that maybe you didn't know. camera has 2.5 x digital zoom, hspda is 1.8 mbps not 3.6 mbps, music player supports: mp4, aac, aac+, eaac+, mp3, m4a, amr, wav, real audio 8, wma.

Had a prototype since May, but its kind of flakey on the firmware I have. Decent enough phone though. The W580 is more odd, considering it isn't 3G, but I prefer the styling and especially the keys on the W580 compared to the W910. Spec may be better, but if its awkward to hold and the keys are horrible little squdgy things then its always going to be a bad experience imo.
Plus I can never get my sim back out :P

the w910i is DEFINITELY better than w580i, check up the SE site or the specs... don be lazy...
but, i would have LOVED if it would have had:
wifi
AF in the camera(not asking for much)
if these 2 things were there, this fone would be revolutionary...

I think this will be the best walkman phone to date but i am still waiting for a walkman 3.0 player + 3megapixel or more camera phone then i will upgrade my phone.

T9 works perfect...i can type a sentence in half time you do it...for some people is dificult...that dependes how smart you are

T9 is a dictionary for text messaging. The words already in the phone phone comes up when you are typing letters. I hate it it's useless just waste of time.

this phone for sure will be the W850i expensive replacement! most likely SE second highest selling phone after the K850i. the phones got some top features, including shake control (prototypes have shown this to be very scratchy, so more of a sellin' gimmick) and genre which the phone automatically makes depending on tempo and style of track. and HSDPA (mobile broadband), alot of networks (well Europe at least) will be pushing this will their mobile internet packages, and HSDPA will become a massive factor in 2008. don't complain about 2mpix camera, its not going to happen for a while on Walkman branded phone, same as a Sony Cyber shot phone will have a "Media player" rather than "Walkman". Would of like to see a 8gig internal memory to compete with the iphone, but with the option now with add on SE GPS running on java application, well its got my vote and money!
