I've had this phone for 18 months, yes it has crashed on me on many occasions, yes it freezes and turns itself off.
I've just today after 18 months updated the software on it, free of charge, you have to back up your contacts as the phone is totally re-set. Lets see how this plans out.
The phone is great works and does what you ask of it.

ape, 04 Jun 2009I want to ask why my phone is always restart?Every phone has it's software faults and there is not a single phone that doesn't restart nor hang.... It's just rebooting the phone's memory that's why it always restarts..
but sometimes it can be a software bug... ^o^

hi everyone, I,ve had this phone for the past four months and i love it. its my first sony phone and it took me two days to get use to it but i love it.maybe it loves me to, because it has been good to me. if you are thinking of purchasing this phone then think no more its a good phone compare to the others I,ve had in the past. hope you like it as much as i do:)

I have this phone for some time. I'm definately gonna change it. I love the appearance but I advise people to think carefuly. It restarts all the time over and over again and in order to start you must remove the battery first. Secondly, the menu on my own opinion is tooo slow. Thirdly, I faced a problem months ago. People can hear me when I speak but I can not! and I must open the loud speaker in order to contact. The screen has some blue points like fingerprints.
I'm not the only one who has these problems. I know 3 other people who have changed it for a better one.
It's a good phone if you wanna have it for like 4-5 months. But if you intend to have it for more than a year then think carefully. Don't put the beautiful appearance above!

i bought thiz fone 6 months ago,,
i've never found any problem with it. this is the best music fone i've ever had.. i'd made a comparison with nokia XM fones, and the result is... w910i is still the best music fone than any of nokia xpress music fone series..

I have this phone for about 1 year and my phone did not restart once and I find that this phone is a good phone, just that when going thru playlist, it will get abit slow or lag only but its bearable. Starting I also read in forum that it keeps restarting but when I bought it, I did not encounter it before.

I bought this phone for my girlfriend and is quite impressed with the features, design and the performance. It's a cool phone. Very sleek and is packed with a lot of features. Read quite a lot of bad comments on other sites, but I can't seem to find any problem in this unit. I bought an Unbranded unit (Not Vodafone or O2), which works like a baby. Try the Gaming series, the games are excellent. :-)

you cant see the 3G icon just because it is converted to HSDPA.(the much better internet connection feature)
as u can see the "H" icon in the screen.unlike the other fones bcoz those have no HSDPA feature.thanks.

Because this phone won a big award ... morei m very happy the way u defended the fonez rumors. but, i m still to the point that i wanna buy a fone that is reliable. i practically dont like slider phones, but this one seems unique. will the slider show any kinda problems? will it get loose? if it gets loose, therez no chance of buying. i m gonna use the fone i buy now for more than 2 yrs. my choice is w890i if i dont buy w910i. if u can say that the slide will not trouble me confidently, i m not gonna buy this fone.

my sim card is 3G enabled but when I used it on W910 the 3G doesnt work nor it gets 3G signal. I thought that there must be a problem with the sim, but when I used it on 3G Nokia phones, the 3G works.
Is there a setting I need to do on W910? It is already set to auto network select. Please help!
