faheem, 15 Apr 2009i bought this set 2 days ago and i dont find any restart pr... moreI updated my phone firmware to 1200-9123 R1FA035 080527 it does the random restart once in a while though.

i bought this set 2 days ago and i dont find any restart problem yet... my software version is R1FA035...
those who are having the restart problem should update to this latest version firmware

how can u change the sofware version??pls help... mine is still RIFA030.. how can i update this one??? my fone restarts often.. and i cant send mesage at times..it just stores in the outbox.. i only have it for 4mos and imstarting to have lots of problems with this... and the side color easily fades off...
pls help with the restarting problem.... tnx

moreover who... morethe best peice i had!!!trust me its a very good fone..and people who had this restart problem the prob is on the mem card!!format on ure computer and put ure mem card on the fone agqin and format it on the fone itself then the problem vanishes!!!
the best part is it supports all kinds of softwares
and moreover the accelorometer is also put for display wallpapers!!i love it!!

hey, alo of people i know has this phone and say they are very happy with it. i really want to get this phone because it is very cheap on pre-paid. if there is any reason why i shouldn't get it that u have experienced, please tell me.

Initially I was happy with this phone, but after 1 month of use, it already started giving problems! It has been in for 5 software repairs, and it still freezes, after only 13 months the phone had difficulty sliding up, and now (15 months later) my phone cannot slide down anymore, it also just stopped being able to play sound through its speakers (my phone doesnt ring, it only vibrates and officially since yesterday, people cannot hear me on the phone anymore, it has reached its decent into degeneration, i suppose all that is now left is for it to die and stop working altogether. so now I need a new phone. Its the second bad experience with Sony Ericsson. I am switching brands. Never again.

Is there a way to add a time/date stamp on photos that are taken with the camera? You can with W580i, W880i etc. Thanks

Help?
When I'm on the phone with someone and get a new incoming call or message the person I'm on the phone with can hear it too. Is there a way to turn that off?

i think that sony ericsson w 910i is one of the best phone in town to use. i will advice you to buy the the phone it the best. i have 4gb memory inserted in my phone and it does not freeze

i have one more thing to sae...
cannot charge more than two hours...
if more ur fone will start to freeze and restart...
and spoil faster...

my w910 call buttons are spoilt hence i sent it to de SE repair centre. I told them about the restarting problem too. They said they gonna update the software for me but i thought it would be pointless as i oreadi have the latest software, but anyway i just agreed with them. after a few days after i had collected back my phone, it doesn't have the restart problem anymore!!! so cool!!! :)

i would not advice any1 to buy this phone,it freezes and switches on and off anytime........not good at all

im gonna sell this phone bec. of the slide up... it sucks... i got repaired it and it cost me a lot...
and its automatically restarting... and it so slow specially when im using walkman etc.
