So,we read now from Mangesh that N91 better than W950. Temporary score W950 vs N91 0 - 1.

I have some question for you:
- what is exactly your based point to say that N91 better than W950?
- do you get your conclusion on overall function or only music or only the smartphone function?
- how long have you tried the W950?
Please give us your specific explanation and also how did you do the test for example for listening music do you used the same song and same platform on both of them and have you also tried to look for the optimal setting?
Thanks, and also for other friends who have used by themselves and compared both of them, please let us know what is your conclusion.

The only thing wrong with this phone is that it doesn't have wi-fi, the rest is perfect.

i have been selling phones for years now, and i know there is a huge backlog of ppl in the UK waiting especially for this fone. I have read reviews of ppl comparing this phone to the Nokia N series, when they dont even know the facts. All of the N series have had severe problems with the handset software and actual phone operating system. It may come with a camera and MP3 player - but have you actually tried using it before?
All of the N series have been a complete disaster, about 75% of the N series i have sold have been sent back due to the phones not working properly. What sony ericsson have done is make a practical phone with no camera, which is targetted at a core audience. The phone works very well and very smoothly, you can put hundreds of tracks on there and acess them all swiftly and easily. Sony have designed this phone to be simple and practical - and they have achieved this perfectly. If you want a camera on your phone along with an MP3 player, i will warn you away from the Nokia N series.....

ITS AVAILABLE, atleast thats what the specification says now. I need 2 start converting to atrac to reach that 4000 song claim.
this phone iz all i could want, wifi would be great but oh well, when N95 comes out i'll replace my trusty P910i

yea its tru the only downfall on this phone is the fact there is no camera integrated. HOWEVER knowing Sony they probably made an attachable camera for this phone (another way of making more profit of the buyer) but i guess for now the k800i is the one to buy :p

Tarantula, w950i sound is not the best on the market.
Only SE fanboys think so.
Try it in real life. I've tried it and its sound was absolutely the same as my w800i has.
N91 is far far better in terms of sound quality.
Check by yourself before claiming this BS.

I believe SE is targeting on specific market for every handset model it has. If u want the features of W950 with wi-fi and camera, u should go to SE P990 instead. It is just a matter of knowing what you need in smartphone. Cheers!

hey u guys whts wrong with u ??? the only thing u know to do is complaining ???!!! this fone is a smartfone n a good option for music lovers , if u r lookin 4 an ALL-IN-ONE go for N91 though its camera is a crap !!! n lemme tell u this BE REALISTIC U WILL NEVER GET THE PERFECT FONE !!! FIRST BE SURE OF WHT U R LOOKIN FOR IN FONE THEN GO FOR IT !!! if u want a smartfone with a good music player w950i is ok n if its lack a camera there is a specific reason ( maybe it has been targeted for businessman n PURE MUSIC LOVERS WHO R NOT INTO CAMERA ) . if u want a nice camera GO FOR N73 OR K800 !!! UNDERSTOOD ????? THE unique fact i regret is that w950i lacks wi-fi !

Great, just great. Few weeks ago I looked into the Carphone Warehouse magazine and I saw this amazing little wonder. I did'nt see the specifications or anything and I thought to myself "Wow, way to go Sony and Ericsson!" But it wasn't until I walked into the Carphone Warehouse shop and I saw the demo of this phone, I turned the phone around and something really shocked me, this, thing never even had a camera! I said "Well, whats the point of this if hasn't even got a camera" I mean come on, even crappy Motorola phones have camera's these days, even though I hate them phones to bits and bits. I was greatly, greatly disappointed, one of the best Manufacturers that make PlayStations and Ericsson crap, couldn't even add a camera. I'm never gonna buy this fone now, so thats when My eyes turned to the N93! I own that and the N70 and N73 and K800i! Now I'll never be bored!

Come on guys, be patient and more objective. Per definition W950 and N91 are smartphone. But if their function are "really smart" in "real life"? Let the user say that. Please be patient for a while, and after you compare them head to head, than you can share your experience.

I think that perdefinition smartphone is a phone with 3rd party open system and not based on they have wifi or EDGE. (Correct me if I'm wrong).
If your definition is true, than what you say about Nokia 3250, N72, N70, N71, N90, E50, 5500, 6708 etc etc? Are they also not smartphone?

The phone is great but with no camera .. do not tell me to buy a camera .. cuz if i will buy that phone for only listen to a music i will buy ipod ... so the phone should be fully loaded with camera ,,, smart phone ,,, and mp3 player ... to be the best .
i think SE could do more better than that ...
