i need this phone. never before has something this square made my stomach turn with anticipation. touch screen, symbian and 4 gigs of memory built by the the powerhouse that is sony ericsson, this is gonna be special.

I suggest to all se fans, dont waste ur money for this music phone. If u wanna brillient music phone then go for nokia n91, i tell u ,u pepole never experienced this type of sound quality before. great news again nokia launching new improved n91 with 8gb space.what abot w950?. cheers to great n91.

This is the exac phone which i was waiting for. SE u have done it! A perfect music phone without camera Great! Im eagerly waiting for its launch ? Does any body know When its gonna launch

I have the LG Kg800 and love it for the touchscreen so am soooooo looking forward to having the SE version, 4gb sounds pretty good too!

Finaly sony ericsson has merge smart with excellent music quality. I have been waiting for such a device and will buy one as soon its out later this year or next year. Thanks SE.

I must say, I've been on this page daily, desperately waiting for it to be released as I have already fallen in love with it.
Sadly, the P990i is only due for release in South Africa in 2 weeks, and according to SE in South Africa, the W950i will only get here mid-November.
SE has let it's customers and fans down so badly by taking this long to release the phone, I am so sick of waiting - it's taking all the self-control I can muster not to give up and just get something else instead.
The worst slap in the face will be the phone is probably going to get to SA, and be worth a deposit on a new car - if all this waiting was for nothing I'm going to peg!

It seems that this year SE is too slow to release their product. Until now W850 and 950 are not be released; and the longest delay is P990i. I just have seen Z610,K618,W710 and Z710 in some website.
Come on SE,wake up,otherwise your position become worse. SE must produce like T68i or K700 or K750i/W800i or P900/910 in their time. Not too late.

hahaha i can't stop laughing!!! nokia just came up with the new n91 ( up to 8 giga memory and new and improoved audio quality ) and SE didn't event release this yet..now that's a big LOL... as some people said earlier, this phone should never be sent out on the market, unless SE want s a big hole in his pocket. once again big LOL

This phone is juz perfet.. PERFECT!!!.. especially the smartphone support UIQ 3 + symbian 9.1 thats awesome.. 4Gb storage Super COOL!!.. + touchsreen Super RARE!!.. + BIG SCREEN NICE!!!.. BUT NO CAMERA?? wat the hellz.. no camera.. At least with 2 mp camera will make everyone satisfy but this without camera AT ALL!! OMG..
anyway theres too many pros but 1 con which is that the phone has no camera.. besides that this phone is perfect... Juz waiting for SE to release another complete set better than N83 next year around middle of the year maybe.. iam waiting for SE..

Please, please, please, will people stop moaning about this phone not having a camera?
I would much rather have more space for music, than to have less music space just to make room for a camera that most people will not use anyway!
If yu are so set on getting a good camera, then go out and buy....well a good camera without a phone :p

what wrongs with sony ericsson? its still not out!, their fans were whining about the n91 and now se can't bring this out yet. in 7 days nokia will announce the next nseries wave... and already known one of them have a 10 gb hdd... a 5! yes 5mpx camera.
