That's true, it takes time to connect to GPS, but once connected it shows my speed when I'm moving even though I'm not connected to internet. The thing that needs connection is the map, it cannot download the map when not connected to internet base on my hands on experience.

How about it's sound quality compared to W395? And the picture quality when zoomed in?

if u are bying a n series fone i am strongly suggesting u to dont by that device!!!!!!!!!!!!!
w995 new wallkman fone is the best!!!!
so by this device and gain the entertainment from this device.;)
then u want foget my opinion.

This phone is taking more than 5 mins to connect the GPS. If u havn't connect to internet, u cannot use the GPS. It will show ur position & speed if u r moving. But NOKIA GPS does that even without Internet. Navigation is not possible without net.

SE categorized this mobile as business phone even it is in walkman series. But you can really use this as business phone upto some extent. The only drawback is this phone cannot support voip. Several email acc can be configured in the Message/Email. Web is faster enough. PDF can be viewed with a suitable application. Even MSword can be viewed if u save as notepad file. Music & Camera , i dont have to explain more.

when you plugin a headphones in 3,5mm jack you cant listen from the port charger with another headphones,sorry for bad english,please

no one stop it's music...
In all situation you can open it's walkman player jst pushing the walkman button
that's why it's the best music phone...

hi there
does anyone know if you can change the setting to save your photos straight to the phone memory instead of the memory stick? also does anyone else have problems charging the phone? sometimes i plug it in to charge, it tells me its charging, but it doesn't. this happens alot with my phone, very annoying. also i can't bluetooth files to my sony laptop, wierd.

Only drawback for this otherwise great phone is that it can't make skype audio calls.
