By that time, samsung is already using 2.0Ghz dual-core. but, i read on magazine, that microsoft will join with nokia next year.

Mobilemaster, 26 Aug 2011Yes, they should release the Arc last year, and the Duo thi... moreYep! If it does, samsung will not be the best selling android smartphones so easy like this.
yes, they are. but, 1 thing i really don't understand about nokia. they're still have not thinking to announced dual-core phones. i'm sure, they have the technology to make it, but they won't. n9 is a great phone. amazing display (like the preview said), stylish design. meego is the beautiful OS. with unique UI, menu, etc. you can watch it on youtube it's available. and it will be an amazing phone if they use at least 1ghz dual-core cpu.
hmm, i haven't heard it. but i'll find out:D

Sony is far more advanced in design and looks then Samsung, but does late in releasing its units.
I was looking for this enough of SG S2(good spec but same old design)
Wondering about the secondary camera ?

I far as design goes Sony is far more better then the Samsung and Nokia, I was just looking for a duel core from Sony. Moreover is has got a lot more spec then SGS II and Nokia.
But I'm worrying about the front(secondary) camera.

AnonD-4814, 25 Aug 2011Yes bro. This phone should be released on March this year. ... moreYes, they should release the Arc last year, and the Duo this year. Nokia is Nokia. :D They made a big mistake when abandoned Meego. The N9 is their first and last Meego smart phone, but I read somewhere, that LG will pick up the OS with a company.

IMHO, all Dual-Core smartphones are there just for marketing purposes, since I understand that there are no apps that are optimized to work with Dual core CPUs.
This might be a good reason why they are not that anxious to release a dual core phone.
All the people hear about dual cores and they think that they will help. One fast single core CPU is enough for now.. Again, IMHO...

Mobilemaster, 25 Aug 2011When they decide to announce it, it will be outdated!! Why ... moreYes bro. This phone should be released on March this year. And xperia arc on April 2010. Arc is SGS, Duo is SGSII. But that's okay, SE still able to catch up with Samsung if they're more agressive. But if nokia, i don't no what are they thinking about. So outdated.

When they decide to announce it, it will be outdated!! Why the... have to wait to announce a Dual Core smart phone? Samsung has Dual Core smart phones(yes, phones), Motorola has too Dual core phone, LG as well, HTC. Only Nokia and SE are left behind. About Nokia I no wonder, because they killed them self.

I love this phone. The specification is good. But if it has a Gyroscope sensor, instead of document viewer, a document editor is much useful for professionals who needs to update their data on the go. and multiple audio, video formats for maximum entertainment would be nice. A 2MP secondary camera would be nice for taking self potrait and for video calling.

Again, again, again, SE is late releasing this unit. Samsung, LG, Motorolla are starting to release their 1.4GHz/1.5GHZ dual-core models while SE until now does not have a single dual-core model. What SE is doing! This is the problem with SE why they cannot compete with Samsung, LG, Apple, Blackberry because of always releasing their unit very, very late. I bet, when they release Xperia Duo, the competitors had already released 1.7GHz or 2.0GHz or maybe even quad-core, so SE's flagship already become obsolete.
