i've bought this unit last year and very satisfied with it, i also have iphone 4s and i guarantee photo quality from the xperia neo is better...

Pretty good phone :D however after 10 months it begins to die on you, the UI begins to lag and it pretty much is to be only used for calling, photo taking and messaging :/ If u want to get a new phone, please look pass this one and try to find another phone with a better processor :D

I have been using this phone for about six months now. The design is not top, but the performance and the display are great, battery life is also outstanding, even under a lot of usage. The mini HDMI port is also extremely useful as the camera is great. From what I have heard the upgrade to Android 4 is bad on this phone, so I didn't do it, I am very much satisfied with the way it is right now. The bad things are little internal storage, which means you will have to move every single app to the SD-card one-by-one, which can be very frustrating. Also, programs stop more often than on other Android phones, especially Mozilla, which you basically cannot use on the phone. Otherwise, it's really a good phone. 7.5/10 points

Hi i m Nasir from Kohat,Pakistan. Im using this phon from 3 months, its a fintastic phon, i really love it. No any problem i found in it. Battery time, camera result etc all thing z good.

razzzzzz, 30 Oct 2012very cute Its only cute..but when u will use the phone u will know how pathetic it is...its hangs a lot..a lot means a lot..and my phone is now dead automatically..as warranty is over i cant exchange it from sony...its 13 months old...and also the local guy cant repair..I have mailed sony ericsson and they say as warranty is over we cant do anything..

This is a sensational phone with exactly the right combination of features. I heard rumors about its performence degradation in Icecream sandwitch so not upgrading to that,im getting excellent performence at gigerbread. Utterly satisfied with my NEO. :-D

Anonymous, 11 Oct 2012Dear Neo users....I bought this phone 2 months back and it'... moreIt is one the best phone which i am using last 1year . Just i updated 4.01 now its work perfectly . before update there is no problems with this phone ecxept heating now it had been cleared.
please switch off application ( mails,bluetooth,navigation,syc , display brightness, bravie engine ) if u r not using phone and restart one day .
switch on bravie engine when u going to use camera u will get best qauilty image i have never seen with any phone .
some of user commented like they purchased neo as iphone 4 .... my concern this is equilant to iphone even u can find better option with this phone .
Don't bother about any one commemnts or arguments . evry phone is good if use properly .
I AM living dubai using iphone also but i like xperia neo

Sony has given a raw deal to all 2011 Xperia customers by giving buggy, poorly performing ICS update. They are totally silent about fixing bugs on ICS and now they have officially refused to update it to JB either. Please let Sony know what you think of its shabby updates and support by signing this petition (asking for a working JB update). Just Google for "Xperia 2011 petition", click the 1st link and sign the update.
Try not to buy Sony mobiles unless they give a quality JB update... or in the very least a quality ICS update.

I'm using 587 (+ many mods from Xperia S/T like Media apps from Xperia T,small apps and nxt lockscreen)and i don't have any problem with apps crashing,or with overheating. The phone runs lagless,and i always have more than 150 mb of free ram.The only problem is with the low memory,but i can live with it. I sugest you to debloat the phone and remove all that crappy apps preinstalled by Sony,and you'll get a lagless phone.
