ohh white neo would be sexy ! the second best is blue gradient...

but the total best choice imo would have been rubber finish plastic, not this glossy finger print attracting plastic :( only set back of this amazing phone

audiojunk, 20 Feb 2011Currently considring NEO, HTC Desire S and Incredible S....... moreI don't think its hard to decide at all, if you do care about the camera. HTC always tend to put really bad cameras in their phones. And the Exmor R camera sensor on Neo really does make a difference - search for "Exmor R mobile" on youtube.

I've owned 3 HTC phones (the original TyTN, Magic and HTC Desire HD), the last one supposedly having the best camera. I was never impressed with them, despite all the rage about HTC Sense UI. They fail to impress because of the hardware: while the core hardware - processor and chipsets - are basically the same, the extras always seem to be of lowest quality.

For example, the cameras are just plain awful. Even Desire HD with its 8mp sensor and dual flash produces extremely blurry images indoors, reminiscent of the 2mp cameras on older phones. Finally, the dreaded red blotch tends to appear in the middle of your photos, especially those of documents.

For HTC, cameras are an afterthought, a checklist feature which disappoints the moment you take the first few snaps.

Audio quality tends to be average, so the phone fails to delight as a music player.

Only the GPS tends to be very good and accurate.

The 3 new SE phones' cameras will probably be among the best ones on Android phones to date. And it seems like SE decided to get serious about Android upgrades and will push much harder to get them out on time.

The best phones are probably made by Samsung. All the greatest hardware seems to be included. Unfortunately, theres the awful software support. After the phone is out, Samsung seem to stop caring and move on to the next latest and greatest, leaving users of phones less than a year old with old firmware. There is also the rarely mentioned lottery-quality hardware in some countries. Lottery quality meaning you will probably get a defective unit - a unit which passed some of the QA levels but not the highest ones. And those are not defective enough to warrant a replacement (this happened to me with the Samsung Wave)

Conclusion: going with SE seems to be the most reasonable choice to me.

Hey guys... take a look at this Real Life video showing Absolutely Stunning performance of Exmor R sensor of Arc, Neo & Pro .
This video shows how Exmor R sensor makes simple sensors look like a child in front of it. Even the last yr's best android cameraphone X10 fails miserably in front of it.

In global SE site does not mention battery life for videocalling, in Spanish SE site shows "Videocalling time: X" that means, does not apply. ????

guys, I just found out recently that Android phones with front camera could make video calls over 3g/wifi using an app. in youtube, the famous one is Tango. with this, you should be able to make use of your front camera for 3g calling even if the SE website doesn't say you could do it. im CERTAINLY getting this baby...NICE!

Ankur, 19 Feb 2011Very Disappointed with the RAM of only 320 MB. Not sure how... moreR u blind or u don't know anything abt internal memory & ram???
320 mb is the user available memory.
btw... for people who r really confused abt ram of this phone - Arc has 512 mb ram, gsmarena has clearly mentioned it, so neo will definitely have 512 mb ram.
Every tech site while reporting abt neo & other new phones of SE have clearly mentioned 512mb ram. So, I think it's 512mb.

Read carefully the specs please. The phone's internal memory is 320 MB, the Ram is NOT mentioned now, because we don't know it know. I suppose that it has 512 Mb of Ram. :)

Guys, take this one instead of Xperia Arc if you are craving for secondary camera! It has the same specs after all, only smaller screen.

Anyway, which color do you think is the best one?
Blue, silver, or red? I'm sooo confused :s
