I am owner of Xp Neo, 2 months now and it is really great phone. I compared it to my brother Xp Arc and my girlfriends Xp Ray and it is slightly better imho. Camera is fantastic, video mode is amazing and all apps are working perfectly including internet browsing (Opera is just flying),video streaming,FB,etc, e-mail.Battery averages 1-3 days, depending on usage (wi-fi,talk,bluetooth,3G).
I also updated it to ICS 4.04 and latest Sony firmware recently and everything is much better then in GB 2.3.7 and only issue I found is that Angry Birds In Space is sometimes becoming un-responsive.
If that is not important to you (as it is not to me) then I don't see any reasons for staying on GN 2.3.7.

And for those who are still undecided what will they buy. Difference between Xperia neo to Xperia Neo V. It's just Xperia neo has a better Camera than the neo V. Xperia Neo has 8mp Camera while Neo V has only 5mp. The rest are all the same performance. Except that Xperia Neo V has a wider market in the Philippines than the Neo and available in any SE Stores than the Neo has not officially announced and market in the Philippines that's why Xperia neo is limited in the Philippines. And for those who are thinking to buy Xperia Ray or Neo. For me if you want a phone that is just comfy to your hands and to your pocket better to buy Ray. Or if you want a phone not just wider than s2 or xperia Arc that is I can say a bit handy. Better to buy Neo. Well Neo has 8mp cam and Ray got also 8mp cam. But the difference is Ray does'nt have front facing cam than Neo. :) I hope it helps. :)

Hi Guys just wanted to share my xperience to my Xperia neo. I'm a more than a year neo user. For those who wants to upgrade their OS from GB to ICS. (As for me) GB is really good for an entertainment user like games,music etc. it's really fast. Compare to ICS a bit laggy especially when playing games really annoying. But when it comes to UI and storage much better and battery life is good. So I just used it as my business phone. Battery life: Well for me. You don't need to install any battery saver if you like, just switch your account&sync to off. Brightness to moderate low. Lessen your widgets. Switch off your gps,wifi,Bluetooth if not in need.(I'm just leave the my wifi on). My battery last a day if not hard used. No need for battery saver apps that really also increase the performance of your phone active that also drains your battery and lessen your storage. It's up to you again. Battery saver helps to Automatic off all your connections if unused.

as shirish10 has told u, its an superb phone, mine is too 8 months old.....
grt phone of its time......
but now it's new nxt series is launched which have dual core processors & much more...... I would suggest u to go for them....
but u still want to buy this phone then make sure u remain on gingerbread, don't upgrade to icecream sandwich, I heard some reports about lagging & rebooting.....

My one year old Sony xperia neo has simply stopped functioning. It will not load and the battery will not work. All I get is the battery charging light flashing but the phone will not turn on. Is it normal for the battery to pack up after only one year or is there some other fault? As I am travelling a lot I have been unable to find a Sony office that could fix the phone. Any suggestions would be welcome?
