2) ICS makes the phone feel like brand new again. Just go to Sony's website for update instructions.
3) Not sure if the neo's still on sale over there, better check your local phone shops.
And for the guy asking about 3D sweep panorama, yes, the neo has that feature already, even without updating it to ICS.

For those of you who claims that the ICS update is terrible, then you guys must be either high on drugs or don't know how to use the phone at all. Sony won't release an update if it's for the worse. My neo feels like a brand new phone again, thanks to ICS. A lot of improvements here & there, not just the looks.
Just a piece of advice: if you are worried about the lag issue on ICS, do a master reset (reformat), which can be done either before or after updating to ICS. If it doesn't fix the problem, then it only means 2 things: either you have a defective unit, or you didn't take good care enough of your phone. End of discussion for ICS.

I buy it yesterday...i didn't use it.. i'll use it on July...i don't really mind if this phone is is 4.0 ICS or Gingerbread 2.3.4 because i buy this phone for it's camera...but is there disadvantage if i upgrade it to 4.0 ICS??i got for 750 n this 4ne have a very impressive camera n video...750 is a reasonable price for it's camera quality...my friend bought Xperia Arc for 900..it sure is fantastic n big..but this Xperia Neo hve same function as Arc..i prefer this 4ne because the camera have same quality as Xperia Arc..secondary camera for videocall n skype...all the application from Xperia Arc is also there...the design wins my heart plus the colour ..deep metalic red is smething new..classic n stylish and my budget is around 750 too...

Hi All,
I have been using Xperia Neo for last 6 months but past 3 weeks I am facing one issue
1. Phone Batter stays only for 1 hrs even though I charge it for3-4hrs everyday. In fact, I never using the phone anything apart from attending calls, still battery dries very fast.
2. On Charging or Playing Games, Its heat up very fast. It's very hot to hold the phone.
This two issues arise only for last 3 weeks, previously it was perfectly fine. No dropping/No damage, but still I m facing this issue all of sudden.
Can any one help me with your suggestions.

The ICS update was not showing me the face unlock feature though it said i would get, keyboard was screwed and some other issue.
All issues were solved with a restart.
Not much different than 2.3.4 but still some improvements and the phone is great for the price. Worth every penny and there isnt a better phone "at this price" !
