Had this phone about 5months now. Upgraded/ Downgraded from the X10i as I wanted an Arc, but no 2nd camera on Arc,plus with ICS I can use face recognition to unlock my phone!Great phone, better than the X10i, excellent price, does all that is asked and remember size isn't everything when good things come in small packages like this.
Cons- battery does overheat often, and not enough internal memory. Not all apps can be moved to sd card& might become a little unstable once u upgrade to ICS.

Im using a xperia neo and i just want to know how to read a pendrive(flash Drive) using my phone.When I plug a pen drive using USB cable (OTG) it says the device is unsupported....?

I brought this phone one month ago...I think its a great phone which includes good camera,internet browsing facilities,document handling,video recording,gps,media ect.

I am from Egypt too, bought the Xepria Neo of course, it is lighter, durable and looks better.
Regarding mega pixels of camers, 5 MP is just enough as the more MP you need it only required for posters or banners of films or so.
But for regular pictures the more pixels is not much required for limited size screens or paper printing.
Also Neo is light and got two cameras, plus one little note, they are android operated so they all have same software features.
Look for processor and RAM which is good in Neo too.

i have use this phone since last August, i am a heavy user of calls, net, chat and browsing and downloads, i charged it when i sleep for two hours, but if you do not use internet or 24 hrs chat like me it last a longer time for 48 hrs to three days. But i use bluetooth, 3G and wifi plus all time i play with it.
i even do not use my laptop now as it is like a mini Ipad.

I did notice that phone heats up a while sometimes but not to the limit you cannot touch it. This shows during games. But I do not play games a lot I do more chat, and calls which sometimes heats up to or search the web.
This is probably due to no cooling on mobile phones comparable to notebooks.

Regarding updates it must be aplies as it helps phone to operate better plus it adds more icons and services on the phone you will enjoy more.
All factories apply some software then they amend it all the time, so by the time any customer purchase the phone it is surely needs an update to work to its utmost.

Hi there, I like listening to music with my neo but I'm looking for a bluetooth headset with music control such as the Jabra BT3030 but I've read somewhere that bluetooth headset doesn't work well with xperia neo. Can anyone give me details about this? Thanks in advance :)

Yes the phone heats up when playing a game & using Wi-Fi because there is no cooling fan on the CPU! And yes, one should update the device whenever possible as this patches the Android OS which fix any inconsistencies with the hardware/software and adds upgrades!

I'm using this for about4 months. This is a great phone. I can use about 3.5 day with power managing app. Usually I take 1 to 1.5 hours call per day. If any one thing about the battery I think you don't have to. There are 2 things to be improve. They should increase the processing power and ram. On all other round this is the best phone you find for the given prices.

The date of purchase- 23/12/2011, from Qatar but right now I am in UAE. The problem is my mobile display be came completed dark. So, what should I will do?

With respect to update of version 4.0.2.A.0.62 the answer is yes! Go ahead and install..it will fix any issues on the device and add upgrades to the Android OS..although I didn't see much of a difference o_O I kept all of my data (games,docs,images,music ect) just connect with Wi-Fi and the phone will do the rest. But the real update to look out for is ICS next month!

its amazing. i badly wanted arc only to realise it has no secondary camera. clear pics. HD games. xperia RAY and NEO are the best sony has ever produced.
