Hey friend, Go for Neo, if not available then go for Neo V. I bought Neo and this is my 15 days long survey answers your queries...
I was ready to compromise on screen to buy Ray but when I saw both phones in person then Neo or Neo V are far better in look and screen size. Neo and Neo V provide HDMI output which Ray lacks. Through HDMI, you can view your pictures, videos on bigger HDTV with your friends, family..isn't that cool? even you can surf internet through phone and can view on big HDTV. Neo and Neo V is different in just camera. Neo has 8 MP with EXMOR where as Neo V comes with 5 MP and it has Xloud for music.. rest everything is same. Ray has 8 MP (plus point) but comes with no HDMI and with small screen then Neo or Neo V (minus points) and I'm happy with my phone Neo, loving it.. Sony ericsson is best at design, very stylish phone within budget .. worth the money.. watching HD videos on Neo is a treat .. And I hate Samsung as it's wannabe of iphone and Android Exp lacks in Samsung, and their unibody built-up is of low plastic.. though I love Samsung s2 only, but its design and price suck as well. Go for Neo or Neo V.. hope I helped you :)

Hello Friends,
Somedays ago even I was also your side with lots of questions about which smartphone to buy since it could be my 1st smartphone of my life. This is my 15 days survey I would like to share with you...
Initially, I chose 3 brands, Sony Ericsson-Samsung and HTC
I reject Samsung coz it's low budget has not that fascinating design and Android Experience lacks in Samsung and thing I hated most is Samsung is iphone's wannabe.
HTC, well, in HTC, HTC wildfire s impressed me and rest all were out of my budget. But HTC wildfire s is very slow due to its low processor and multitasking sucks..
Then I came up to my Ex-brand Sony Ericsson, here, xperia family impressed me a lot with their design and features like bravia engine, timescape, exmor etc.
I figured out 3 phones within my budget, Neo, Neo V, Ray..
Unfortunately Neo is not available in my area and I'm camera fanatic so I thought to buy Ray due to its 8MP cam and Exmor compromising on its screen size. But when I saw Ray and Neo V personally, omg, Neo V was far better than Ray in its look and design and mind it, that screen size matters a lot (I got to know this when I saw Neo V screen size) and moreover, Ray lacks in HDMI port which Neo V doesn't. But still I was conscious about camera of NEO so I searched about Neo and got the phone :) (ecstasy) well if you can compromise on camera which Neo V gives 5 MP and absence of EXMOR, then Go for Neo V because Ray Vs Neo/V - No contest. Neo V had xLOUD for music which Neo doesn't have. So my preference is as follows,
Neo
Neo V
Ray

im typing this from my neo bought few days ago. I got the silver colour and it doesn't have the finger print issue. in terms of operation this really rockzz man. android is awsom. I totally recommend this for anyone looking for a android phone.

i'm a big fan of sony ericsson, but someone please help me...
i'm planning to buy a SE Xperia and i want to know about video calling, anti scratch screen, sound quality, picture and video quality, camera features, video features, memory card (up to ...GB), overall performance.
specially for the pro, how about the sliding? it's sturdy enough?
my options are neo, ray, and pro. i want to know the differences between them. which is better?

Neo is the best in xperia series, i have xperia neo before a month. everything is doing better... except internal memory it is not enough for me.
