Definitly The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 is a high end smart phone... nothing compared with iphone 4. Or can you compare an Audi with a Bugatti Veyron?...

hi, i want to ask how i will charge the battery for first time? i try to charge it but the phone is connect. when i put the charger the phone automatically opens. how i will charge it with disconnected phone?

Has anybody who uses "battery indicator" or any other similar application that shows the percentage of the battery noticed the following: if you unplug the charger immediately after the green light has turned off, then in 3-5 minutes approximately adter unplugging already 1% of the battery is gone. Pretty soon after the 1st% also the 2nd and 3rd are gone as well.

well speed has increased with keyboard sensititvity
battery cant say as i use other softwares to improve my battery life, but even comparativelt it seems ~ 20 - 30 % better.
most imporatant ,
screen picture quality has increased a lot, specially increased contrast that it do gives little 3 d effect which looks good in gallery or mediascape and movies.
will tell more as i know this update bettre.

I think xperia 10 provide the best quality of hardware like 8MP camera is very sharp and natural, a very large screen, fast processor only ram that is not high enough, the music quality is very good (not loudspeaker), 3.5 mm headphone jack, mediascape a very pleasant after the latest update. anyway if you are already holding xperia 10 you would not choose another. believe me I'm not lying

You know I owned the X10 and sold it as it wasn't suitable for me.
I have a Nokia 6710 Navigator now, which is simple and easy, with great free GPS, and works without internet connection.

I have in my hand Xperia X10i, Satio, C905 and W705 and my wife in the Philippines has my old P910i and P990i. Please have my comment on my Xperia X10i and Satio phones. These 2 highly priced smartphones were not having the multi-touch technology/pinch zooming, HD video, stereo speakers, equalizer (except satio being updated few months back), etc. Should SE include these things in the next software updates. I received an update on my X10i this morning but nothing on my comments were in said update.

Install some task cleaner, this is android and not apple's OS.

Elias, 08 Jul 2010I was very happy when I received the X10, and though It wil... moreI use x10 now and 3gs before. Just wait till q4 and the 2.1 éclair android can be installed as the os of the x10. I know it sucks but just wait for the new os. I like this phone, fun phone and not boring. Let's just wait for the better os because as you can see that x10's hardware is way better than 3gs except for a video card which is not present in the x10. In any phone there are always pros and cons. I hope that 2.1 will make this phone better than before and the hardware specs of x10 passed the minimum requirements of the coming 3.0 gingerbread android. Iphone is good but x10 is better for me.
