can u please tell me how can i install custom andro... moreits too long to explain here
instructions in a nutshell:
-root
-unlock bootloader(this step determines if u can install 4.0 and up or not,bout 2.3,i didnt sure..in my case,my bootloader is unlockable)
-install custom kernel via PC flashing tool
-last,install desired custom ROM of ur choice,depending on kernel.
google 'xperia x10 mini xda android development' for more detailed instructions n plenty of ROMS to choose for.
or go straight to xdadevelopers n search x10 mini.

Unfortunately, SE will not release an official Android update for the X10 mini, so either you'll get stuck to the 2.1 version or you snoop on the internet how to root and install a cooked Android 2.3 ROM on your X10 mini(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1068553). Good luck!

recently received this X10 mini as a present of my girlfriend,though she knows i already hav xperia play..XD
anyway,it is the cutest phone i've ever used..single-handed friendly..love its design!
already install custom Jellybean 4.1.2 to this mini,and it is faster than stock..dare to say its full performance is as same as stock Xperia mini ST15i.
overall,this is a good phone if modified with custom rom.

i used this phone for 8 months. the battery is bad.
and it is doesn work. it is so difficuilt to fine battery. and it is not simple changing battery.In all markets i could not find the battery. I am fan of sony ericcson.For five years i used to use k510 then i bought that one. But this minis life is just for 8 months:(((

I am unable to connect my X10 mini to Live View that I purchased today.
1. The LiveWare manager is not showing in the Market and hence unable to download the same.
2. When I am pairing this with the Live View it says that device is "Paired but not connected". And it is not getting connected at all.
How to solve this problem. Please help.

Ok I am an old(er) lady and I can't get the phone open to put my sim card in!!!! I have broken my finger nail trying to open it. Can find instructions on how to close but NOT how to open. I have been pushing the long button on the side and trying to pull open. What am I doing wrong??? PLease help!!

And as for Facebook,if it came pre installed then you can not remove it,obviously aside of re flashing it wiv new firm/software
