It is not Android 2.1 but it seams to be the same update as for X10 http://blogs.sonyericsson.com/products/2010/06/30/xperia-x10-software-update%E2%80%A6-over-the-air/. Perform backup of all your data since it will be erased.
After update:
Firmware: 1.6
Kernel: 2.6.29
Build: 1.1.A.0.8

scottie, 16 Jul 2010please anyone how do i cancel a call when the phone is lock... moreTo forward messages, just press on the message, you will get the option to forward or delete the message. i have not found a nice way to end a call when the phone is locked, i press the hard button on the right out of habit(form my old phone) but that does not do it

and if by chance there is a problem in the battery even after the warranty period expires can it be changed?or is it like that we have to go on with this troublesome battery untill we quit this phone?pls reply fast coz i am considering of buying this in the day's to come..thnx

Anonymous, 15 Jul 2010im a x10 mini user.... its a gr8 phone. the only disadvant... morehey thnx for ur reply..but tell me something dude isn't x8 more worthy than x10 mini?it has a bigger screen,better battery life and that too removable,HVGA screen...only thing in which x10 mini leads is the camera and the led flash......what's ur take on this?

its a gr8 phone. the only disadvantage that i can find in this phone is low battery life. and there is release of 2.1 update in Q4 this year...
