Hi all..
Got the mini on Satrdy... My first Droid.. Had a 5800 before, after using a symbian just taking time to gettin used to Android..
About the phone : I just luv the phone.. Its pretty small but the touch response is amazing when compared to 5800... capacitive touch does make a lot of difference..
I have a few questions so pls help me:-
1. Does the camera have zoom feature? (was not able to find it at all)
2. What is the best application to transfer files using bluetooth?
3. There is a Data traffic icon on the status bar which i want to get rid off but im not able to? have tried different options but was not luckily and the icon is kinda annoying :-(
So those are the 3 questions so far.. so guys pls help me...

Two days back I went to a mobile shop with one of my friend. I saw this phone and fell in love with it. Cut little gadget with good features and probably good performance also seeing the price bracket being a Android phone. I have already two phones (Nokia 5800 & Acer DX900 Dual SIM and both keyboardless touch phones) and I am positively thinking of buying this one.
By the way I wanted to inform you folks that an update of 34mb approx is available at Sony Site for this phone. Did anybody apply that - if yes what are the improvements noticed ?
Secondly, I have read that is is possible to share file transfer over BT in this phone using third party app. Requesting any practical user to alaborate on this.
Finally is there any need to go for the pro version (when it launches) or the touch screen inputs are comfortable enough in the smallish screen?

Jesus everyone moaning about Bluetooth didn't you research android before buying this phone you make me laugh.

I just got this mobile yester day. The big disappointment till now with this device is the way its bluetooth works. You can not connect and transfer files to other device as easily as you do with other phones. Not even as good as other basic phones. Other thing is the wall paper spawns across multiple screens. On no screen you see your complete wallpaper. just peices wise spread across 4 screens. Till now i have no luck in finding a way to remove wall paper setting.
On the positive side its 5MP camera is superb. And overall capacitive screen performance is greate. Response time is also low.

Samsung now announce to realease Wave 2/Pro and Omnia Pro and minis.
Nokia came up with X05 which obviously inspired by X10 xperia mini pro..

hate_u, 13 Jun 2010just got the phone, was very disappointed in its performanc... morepls dnt compare it with iphone.... its only a mid range phone....!!!

this is a good lil device if you know what your doin, i find it fasta than nokia e72 n its a great start if ur new 2 android os

just got the phone, was very disappointed in its performance, had previously used iphone 3gs, still x10mini is not as gd as iphone. sigh, am gonna wait for iphone 4 to be released.

Mani, 13 Jun 2010how do you download bluetooth i have problems conecting wit... moreRight, pair ur device 2 another then open bluetooth file transfer tap the 2nd tab at the top of the app press options n search once done connect 2 a device after that tap on e/ which mem card look thru the folders mark an item u want click options n tap download

Anonymous, 12 Jun 2010Why stylus is not good with this type of screen?It is capacitive screen which does not require you to apply pressure like a resistive screen.
