I am really interested on buying this phone. My main concern is on it lacks of keypad. That is why i am waiting for the x10 mini pro. GSMarena please review this phone and the mini pro. Is there any difference between the release version with the one that ws previewed?

This is calling himself "mini", 16 mm thin.. ehmm thickness. My SE P1i was 17 mm (now I hv a 11,5 thin phone) diff between X10 mini and P1i are only the OS, capasitive screen and a faster processor, otherwise -almost- same size in dimensions of both body and screen (even resolution).

Having now added a t-mobile pulse mini to my collection, I have noticed the lack of support for apps to work on a 240x320 display correctly. Will it not be a good idea if we are going to have mini android phones apps are made with multiscreen support like with java apps? I think too that 240x320 is too low res on the browser, even giving SE make fantastic screens.

The price is pretty ok. Not attractive but its ok. Considering you get three more back covers with different colors its a pretty neat handset. The camera seems to take good photos for its type and the phone is surprisingly fast.

                                  In summary :
                                  - Great UI (feels like IPod)
                                  - No landscape on most apps (current only sees working on the picture album)
                                  - Only has keypad input, no qwerty keyboard
                                  - Very clutter on the web browser
                                  - Good speaker
                                  - Quite responsive
                                  - Very fat
                                  - Battery cannot be replace by you/embedded
                                  - GPS locator is fast enough
Note : If the apps using relative sizes, it will fit in here.

A reason I can think of it being sell good is battery life, small size and Andriod. While I am not fan of Andriod yet but I can clearly see its integrition process with Google services.

With good big Andriod tablets and handsets rolling out with less battery life, people are forced to carry a backup handset with them for let say making calls or simple texting and for these type of people, this can bring real charm because they can utilize most of Andriod's power on the go easily.

undefined, 15 May 2010euuugh.... girlish, makes guys don't want to buy it so ... moreMy friend, game of sizes is a very tricky to understand unless you experience yourself. If done it right it will want you to come for it again and again and if not, well you will hate it but experience is must.

I used to think like you too, too thick no buy, too big no buy etc. Unless I tried couple of big but slim forms. They were big but not thick so they fit in hands and in pocket easily. X10 is an example where designer made it fit easily while keeping it big and thick.

Now Our X10 mini is very small so if they go for slim profile, it will not fit right in hand, user would end up dropping it more often. Yet it is very thick but small so it will slip into pockets way too easily without notice.

It is all in designing right and I can tell you Sony Ericsson has very good designer and they look over many things and that is why they are true to ask the price they ask because good designing is not a cheap job.
