I am planning to buy Xperia mini.
Anyone kindly advise on the battery performance.
My daily usage is around 30-40 mins of talk time, 30 sms & 2 hrs of music.

if you leave the 3 g on the battery gets sapped
If you load high volume of data it cant function
SMS function crashes
Retrval time for numbers is like 5 mins ( if it doesnt crash)
The internal memory is on 100 mb and if you use a couple of things it just cannot multi task DONT buy the phone or in three months you will need to change it ( even their brand new phones dont work)

Data connect.works when it wants to 3g.keeps coming up with network error?ORANGE.

The battery life can be extended by a simple practice. always turn off the mobile while charging, better when you are sleeping at night you can turn it off and charge it. it will give a much better back up then before..

The setting has to be manual and you have to have some kind of plan sat 199,299 etc.. normal free internet will not work on this paperweight.. I have started hating it....

You ne... moreIf you have observed the battery gets consumed very little while you play music!!!! this is a big surprise.. There is one option go to network connection and turn off data transfer this will save a lot of battery. ope fully if you are not using phone too much then you will survive till evening. But i wont advise any one to buy this phone as there are unbelievable limitations with it. You cant send bulk sms, you cant see folders. You have to download 3rd party software then only its proper usable. You cant receive visiting cards (if there are something more than name and number e.g. address etc.) it cant get synchronise to your desktop. Your cell have to have net connection to sync. too many probems. I got fed up in just few hrs. 1/2 price nokia is 300 times better than this paperweight..

does xperia x10 mini have the landscape qwerty text messaging???? pliz reply if there any softwareor guide to fix it???

When I transfer file from other phone (K850i) using bluetooth into Satio, the file comes as message. I cant move the file into other folder or to MicroSD. There is no function to enable moving the file into other folder we want.

hey guys what's happen with SE? Im a huge SE fan but its really let me down lately..Satio have cheap materials and the cam design is the same since K800 with the slide cover..ohh come on SE..I take a look on nokias N8 and i got to tell you, is way superior, since built quality till hardware...let's faced, the N8 is simply amazing, while Satio is just one more. Wake up SE!!

Does anyone know how to prolong the message tone or notification tone ? The message tone is very short .. I try using music from the library but stil the tone is very very short abt 2 secs ! Hmmm ! Pls help ..

The X10 mini was a great buy for me, i like it, her screen sensitivity are really good and some facilities to use it. But i hate her battery life its very bad, i coldnt use this without a usb cable to recharge, i recharge him everyday sometimes twice a day, i really dont know how can be possible 360 hs in standby on 3g, maybe its 360 min.
Someone had this problem too??

In my point of view, the unic problem is the batery. You need to rechard every day and some days you can't use the phone more than 18 hours.
Someone know the best way to extend the batery life?

if wanna use loads of applications then go for xperia x10 and not mini it has speed of 1 ghz... am using it... great to own it..
