Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 now official, live shots inside

03 November, 2009

Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 finally saw its official announcement today. The Android-running handset is probably the worst kept secret of the century with numerous leaks and spy-shots revealing its specs long before the curtain was lifted.

Luckily, all the hot specs of the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 were confirmed. The touch-driven handset packs a huge 4" 262K-color display with the class-leading resolution of 854 x 480 pixels and an 8MP camera with LED flash. It will run on Android OS v1.6 (or Donut if you prefer) and have a finger-optimized home-brew UI pre-installed on top of it.

But the good stuff doesn't end here: Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 is powered by a 1GHz Snapdraggon CPU and has 1GB of internal memory plus an 8GB microSD memory card included in the retail package.

Of course, connectivity is also excellently covered. Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 features all contemporary means of data transfer starting from quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE, though 3G with HSDPA support to Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and USB. There are standard microUSB and 3.5mm jacks this time and not the Sony Ericsson proprietary Fastport.

Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 will be available in Luster White and Sensuous Black color versions, starting from Q1 of 2010 (sorry, no X10 under the Christmas tree for you). At this stage there is no information about its pricing.

And here go some live photos of the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 that we took.
