Do you mean the X2's price? It is around 650 $, but it depends on mobile carier. Eg at Vodafone the price will be different from Orange, or Tmobile. This phone will be available on early November at Vodafone.

it is a cliche or a commonplace for most of the people that all of the sony ericcson phones have a scratch resistant covering, well the only way for us to know it is to buy all the units or models of this certain brand, that is for you to see if all the SE handsets have that certain feature, well regarding the particulars of the mobile phone you can visit the SE site, i don't have any notion if what is the exact site..goodluck,.

i dont hate other manufactureres , in contrary i respect them since all contribute positively to the mobile industry , and without all these companies we would never had any of the advances that we see today.
i only want to tell and heat the truth

Since this phone is not much different from X1 it shout not be that hard for them to release this one. It almost just a rebranding (read it tricking!). Also this one is already late and out-dated, they should not keep it on hold unless they want to make fun of themselves more than what they've already done.

a perfect gadget as usual but no radio for music listeners a bit annoying. I think that S E has made it in the X3 Rachael and included a Radio with other amazing features as S E had always done with us

I know that Se inside guy, he spoke true things... morei respect your ideas , but in my case i will not be able to choose sharp phone is se is busted since in my area you can never find sharp phones and will never be .. myself i will change to samsung if se is closed..
but we still have time to make our judgement , since the new director of se had an interview and he claimed that major changes will happen in se portofolio and the company will leap forward with these changes.
i will stick to se for another year to see if thses changes and promissing ,, i suggest you do the same .
next year we shall not see more than 10 new products in se , they will have market segment , mid ranges , high end and very high end phones and they will stop the production of all old models to produce the new models in a shorter time and not to loose the factory resources oon the old ones.
also they will produce the new models in large quantities so it will reach the marke to all and without shortages as it is happeninig now .
so next year we shall see se shifting their traditional line up and will have new lines mostly on services and web oriented phones , , we shall still see cybershot and walkman phones 1 or 2 just to keep the tradition and keep the old faithful customers happy.
unfortunately with this new policy se will never be the leader in the market like se and samsung since most of the sales are the low end phones if you are going to count quantity ,
se will be lets say a high end quality manufacturer and this is targetting a small segment of the growing market .
we only hope that that predictions of the new directors work out so we shall be happy to have this forum ongoing as it is

I waited for the first Xperia when it was announced. after waiting for 6 months, i just ended up getting the Iphone 3G. then I read about the Xperia cracking and whatnot.
Im glad I went with the Iphone 3G. my contract ends at the beginning of 2011, right when this nex Xperia 2 will probably be released.
this phone wont be released anytime soon.
