i'm currently using an SE X1,i'm planning to replace my phone to Xperia X2,but i heard that X2 use to hang or use to have slow response when your navigating or using it...can you just tell me guys the real thing about x2?...but my x1 is great...actually i want it to update it in winmoblie 6.5,but i'm kinda hesitant,im worrying it might log also...can you just give me a peace of advice....kindly also send me a message and add me in Facebook here's my e-add regie8@yahoo.com .... bye

[deleted post]I'm from Manila and I used to own this phone. Believe me, save yourself from any headaches and choose another phone. I switched over to x10 mini pro, love the size and performance, waiting the update any day now.
I got my old x2 when it 1st came out last Feb for PHP28400. Sold it last August for 17k. Search the net and greenhills, they should only cost about 16k or less. Sucky phone. What I hated about X2 were: weak volume, slow OS (windows), there are times my SMS tones will not sound. Lots of lags, search the net, you'll see all the problems with this phone. I eventually gave up. No doubt it's the best physically, the OS made it stink.

[deleted post]I've seen some of X2 is some malls here in Manila but they are not really at the SE stores, but when you purchase it it still comes with SE one year warranty. I'm thinking of getting one.

Dear Sun,
First of all I want to thank you for your kind words and I'm glad that you appreciate that I've been here for a long time to assist and help X2 users.
Also, I want to point that I fully acknowledge that Sony and SE both have flaws and problems, believe me I'm not that naive. There is nothing perfect and this also applies on Sony. The thing is that I just feel very attracted to this brand and I have my strong reasons to believe in such way.
Anyway, like you asserted, everyone has his own taste and choice, so basically even if we disagree with each other, we should still respect others opinion, instead of annoying them and making them change their mind, which you and I know will never happen. And since this is a se forum others should respect our choice instead of coming here to bash and fight all the time.
What's happening here is really sad, however, what I just heard from you made me happy and gave me hope, so thanks sun :)

I also dislike his attitude of believing that SE rule the world despite countless proofs that show otherwise but on the other hand he is helping users of xperia 2 here and i have to respect him for that... You and i know that Samsung and Htc have created much better handsets then SE but i don't think you will be able to persuade enyone here... Do what you want...

During the time on the xperia 10 forum mostly many have shown you proofs that SE is not a company without flaws and hardly can be called the perfect company that you imagine it to be...they are not dominating the mobile phone industry neigher in terms of production or seller numbers! Other brands are ahead of SE in both aspects! Try to look at things from an objective point of view and not throught a venetian mirror!

[deleted post]if you have used winmo before, then this is the best outthere. (of course, price/spec ratio and winmo 7 on the side). Now, just make sure, you will hardreset your phone to get rid of the entire SE customization. Leaving only standard windows 6.5.x. its the best. android is shit. its just for the kids who love to play wii.

Who won the smartphone of the year award?
Samsung with their Galaxy S. EISA calls it a “jewel in the crown” and they’ve absolutely creamed themselves over the quality of the screen.
Samsung’s Wave also won an award, it’s the “Social Media Phone” of the year.
And as for regular plain jane handsets, that award goes to Sony Ericsson with their 2.55 inch screen Android powered X10 Mini.
